Improvement over standard low-pressure spray nozzles
Update to the follow up review after actual field use:The setup proved very beneficial. We used an 8-nozzle configuration under a 12'x12' pop-up canopy during a tournament in South Carolina this weekend. Provided a 30-minute cooldown period after warming up and prior to their next game in what us Northerners consider sweltering humid temps. Second use was in a six nozzle straight-line configuration in the dugout to cool the girls off between innings. Again, operated as expected and provided the relief needed. Two nozzles clogged in use and cleaning was as simple as disassembling, flushing and reassembling. (Update to original review below after some testing)The misting nozzles provided with this set is the main reason I purchased it. I have bought 3 other sets with different nozzle openings and separate misting nozzles by themselves to try and create the effect I am looking for with a flow rate that is acceptable. My use is for a portable system attached to a pop-up canopy that is fed by a 4-gallon pump sprayer. This will be used as a cooling station for summer sports. The nozzle design really needs to be explained to understand the benefits. Instead of using a fixed orifice like the standard screw-in nozzles and plastic nozzles, these have a spring-loaded tip that sits against a ceramic cone that atomizes the water through a much larger orifice. These are a similar setup as is used in higher-end high-pressure misting systems just with a weaker spring. The effect is not quite as good as a high-pressure system as you see in amusement parks, but is much better and lower maintenance than the standard low-pressure nozzles used in other systems The pin and seat design allows the atomizing effect to be distributed over a larger area, the entire seat area of the tip, instead of relying on a single tiny opening to atomize the water. Due to the larger surface area of the atomizing zone and the ability to have a larger orifice, clogging should be less likely but if it does occur, it is much easier to clean out.I do not like the hose that was provided with the system. For most uses it will be fine, but heating from sunlight will soften the material allowing for easier collapse requiring elbows be used where there is a tight bend. Not enough to remove a star, but worth mentioning if your setup will require tight turns and the tubing will be exposed to direct sunlight. I prefer more rigid 1/4" hose as is used for drip irrigation systems. For straight runs on a patio or free-form like over a trampoline, the tubing is more than adequate.Update after some testing:I ran a quick, unscientific test on the nozzles after my initial review. Using the water line markings of my pump, a stopwatch, and 12 nozzles, I measured a flow rate of 0.5 gallons in a 3 minute period. That comes out to .014 gallons per nozzle per minute at about 20 PSI. Spray pattern on all nozzles was not ideal at 20 PSI but was adequate. 30 PSI seems to be the lower pressure limit for a really good spray pattern. I'll have to eliminate 4 nozzles to get to my desired run time between tank refills, but I am happy with the results. What I am not happy with, and resulted in a loss of a star, was the sealing capabilities of the flexible hose provided. I had to dump the results of two previous tests due to leaking issues. I would recommend not using the hose provided and instead purchase a semi-rigid drip hose similar to 'Rain Bird T22-250S'.

Nice for cheap mister
Does the job, no instructions come with it though. For example there is no instruction on how to do an end cap at all. There is also no instruction on how to attach the garden hose. (FYI you need to unscrew the end of the cap (cap tip) and then insert the black hose before screwing it down) failure to do this and it will just keep popping off.

Very fine mist particles
I have a 65 foot run with 20 nozzles, operating on our low (50psi) pressure tap/faucet. Twenty of these string on our 13x10 pergola produces a lot of mist, far more than I thought they would. And the system produces a very nice mist.Don't fret if you get leaky mister junctions at first -- just turn the system off and re-seat the hoses and misters where you see leaks.I had four gushers at first, but all leaks vanished by simply re-seating the hoses. You have to make sure the hoses are clean cut, and they are pushed in all the way with no debris on the hose.People complaining about nozzle leakage after the system is shut off don't realize this is normal for a mister system -- high pressure is required to produce mist. The low pressure experienced at shut off will cause water to slowly drip out of the emitter heads until most pressure is gone. Perfectly normal. If you want to speed up the drip-out process, simply push-pull remove one emitter at the lowest point to rapidly discharge the pressure, then re-insert the mister. It would be nice if these emitters could be individually shut off for better misting control, but at this price, this is not a deal breaker. The emitters produce great mist, that's what I paid for.

Quality product that won't disappoint
Even though the instructions are online, you wouldn't need any. It's pretty straight forward and actually kinda fun. I love the versatility of the product. I used all 20 misters at first and that was too much for my back porch. One or two minutes of operation and everything was drenched. 4 was sufficient. The mist is a great, fine mist with a small amount of adjustment optional. There is a slight whistle and white noise sometimes with each nozzle so 20 nozzles can be quite loud. I installed at 15 inches apart at first, but I would recommend 5 feet apart. Don't worry about the extra nozzles, they may come in handy later.

Test before hanging
As a long time Arizona resident, I have used many misting systems to cool the patio. This is my first expereince using a 1/4" system ans was somewhat skeptical. Bought this system because it was able to be structured to meet the specific placement for nozzles. Actual assembly was very easy, however had to reset almost every nozzle assembly as they were leaking on both sides. Was a pain since I had hung it before testing (suggest testing first on the ground before hanging).Am pleased with the misting action and hope that it will last a long time.

Good misting kit
This kit comes with everything you need. The connections are good quality and comes with a tool to cut the tube to the size you want. It might be a good idea to get a filter to avoid hard water build up on the spray nozzles.

works great if you insert the hose deep enough
I like that I could customize this as I wanted it. I did have an issue with leaky connections at first until I learned the hose must go fully 3/4 inch deep in each side of connectors. I had stopped inserting at around 1/2 inch deep, when I felt some resistance. That 1/2 inch was not deep enough to pass through an internal o-ring ... after I pushed the hose in deeper, moving past that o-ring, my connections became water-tight and the system works great. Oh, I also bought a filter because the water is hard where I live and I don’t want the misters to clog up. Works great now and I want to add another line.

Good quality
It took about 20 minutes to put up. Easy to use and came with everything I needed. He dropped the temperature on my back porch at least 10 degrees.

Not an entire drip systems like some morons think just sprinklers 50 for £9.99 you can’t go wrong.
This item is spot on and doesn’t warrant a one star review at all. If you are stupid enough to order what you think is an entire drip system of £10 well you deserve what you get. These sprinklers are fantastic value you for money, Hozelock charge £10 for 5 of these and in this pack you are getting 50 so to me it’s fantastic value for money. This is not an entire drip system like some morons think it is only the sprinklers. Please don’t read one star reviews and think they are rubbish because they aren’t.

Good sprayer but not compatible with Hozelock piping
Product looks good and sprays enthusiastically.. However its a bit hard to regulate the spray to a gentle level which I need for pots versus us the open beds also on the irrigation system. Biggest drawback, which is not the fault of the product, is that the sprays won’t fit onto Hozelock micro piping. I luckily have a different type of slightly more flexible micro hose that will take the spray connector studs but I have to go out and buy more of that one to use instead of the metres of now useless Hozelock micro piping. I do have some Hozelock micro dripper heads I could use but I prefer the spray head system as it spreads the water better. For some reason, Hozelock don’t do the spray heads.

Needs some adjusting
Very hard to fit 4mm pipe onto the connectors. I had to use a dremel to sand down the flange on every one. But I must say that these worked better at watering than the ones hoselock provided

Very useful but tricky to install.
These emitters have a very good adjustment so that each outlet can deliver water independently from slow drips up to a wide spray. The integral spike is long enough to provide a secure anchorage. The problem is the tubing attachment. This would be annoying if it was so loose the tubes detached themselves but the opposite is the case and the spigot is a very tight fit in the bore of the tube. Even soaking the end of the tube in near-boiling water did not ease attachment sufficiently; it was also necessary to expand the tube-end with a tapered spike.
