Robelle740 Swimming Pool Vacuum Hose, 35-Feet-Feet by 1-1/2-Inch

I've used only once, and it seems to work just fine. The only problem is that I noticed that I was having a bit of trouble reaching the far corner of my pool. To make sure I wasn't imagining things, I rolled this out next to my old busted hose and, indeed, it was noticeably shorter. To confirm, I measured, and this (allegedly) 30' Robelle measures up at about 28' (while my old hose of another brand was actually 30') I guess that if you're reading reviews, it probably means you haven't purchased this yet. In that case my advice to you is that this product works just fine and just be sure to go one size bigger than you need. However, I'm the type of guy that likes to get what I'm promised, and this type of shady business practice rubs me the wrong way, so for purposes of my review I'll ding them one star for each missing foot.

Could have been a decent product but the connector fits loose on the cleaning head and has fallen off most every time I vacuum the pool at least one time. I'll probably put some tape to make it fit tighter but that's just not right for a new item to not even fit properly. My 10 year old hose fit perfectly and is only being replaced due to a small crack that developed on the body.

This was going to replace an old hose that I had duct taped over a hole, I waited until this pool season to install. It leaked around the collar immediately. I was able to move the hose around to the point where it was just a trickle because I knew the return window had closed and I was stuck with it. I fought this thing since May. Both collar ends restrict water flow to the point where I don't have constant suction when I vacuum. Today, after not having enough water flow to operate the filter, I gave up and put the old hose with the taped hole....which works 10 times better than this did. Absolute garbage....

I ordered this hose on May 28th and just put it on my vacuum for the first time yesterday because I had a 30 foot hose that was a bit too short to reach the very end of my pool. There was no suction and I thought there was something wrong with my filter. I called the person who services my pool and we tried everything to get the vacuum to work. As a last resort, I put my old hose on to see if the new hose could be the problem. The old hose worked perfectly. After inspecting the new hose, I found holes in the new hose at the end that goes in the skimmer. Because that end was not submerged in the water - I couldn't tell there were any holes. This was very disappointing since I'm unable to return it.

Hose is very stiff, kinks easy and ripped after 3 weeks of use!

I bought this to replace a longer hose that I'd had for years that finally broke. This time I got the right length hose and don't have to deal with lots of extra hose getting in the way. The swivel head on the end helps keep the hose from kinking. It was delivered quickly and appears to be of good quality. I'd buy again from this vendor.

Should have read reviews. 2 ft shorter than advertised. Bought 25ft hose for a 30ft length pool that has skimmers halfway. Will not reach. Read reviews and realized they are after short, measures and end to end was 23ft Inc nozzle.

I have used this hose three times. My pool has a drain and a skimmer. When I plug in the vacuum with this hose, and turn off the flow from the drain, there is too much suction for normal hoses and they collapse. But this hose does not collapse under the pressure. It's very sturdy.
