 I was really excited to get this so I started playing with it right away. You need to clamp both sides then press lightly in the middle for it to work optimally. Vacuumed the bag then created a solid seal. The seal is strong and you will likely tear the bag before tearing the seal.

 I have a FoodSaver but have realized that I don't use it much, or at all, because it's too large and bulky, and I don't have the counter space for it, so it's stored, aaaand I'm always too lazy to get it when I could use it so I was looking for something more practical and affordable, and this is it!Pros:Storage! fret not, for you can actually use the magnet in it to place it the side of the fridge for easy and simple access!It is light and small, does not need much counter space when in use, and is easy to grab on the go for a quick useIt is easy to use. The video shows my very first time using it and it doesn't take long to figure outIt does a great job at vacuuming the air out of the bagIt does a great job at sealing the bagBoth of these are of similar quality to the FoodSaver food vacuum sealer I have been using for years.Cons:It is kind of manual, which means you need to unlock it, place the bag, and then lock it again, and it does seem like you would need to sometime push to have it vacuum effectively - all of which takes seconds, but worth mentioning to those who might be more interested in less work. I still find this to be less work than the FoodSaver because moving and storing are the major issue for me.You need to - of course - get more bags when you're out. Although they offer a bunch, it does seem - as is the case with FoodSaver - that it is preferable that you get specific bags. I haven't used it on other bags, so I don't know whether that's an option.This is my new favorite gadget in the kitchen, and I'm excited to have something easy to use, to reach and put back, and quick and effective to prolong the lifetime of my food, which - I assure you - so desperately needs to be sealed to reduce the amount of wasted food I end up having each month. Highly recommended!

Vacuum machine packs beef and other things to eat in the cabin in the next few days, and finds that this machine is really good to use. I bought a vacuum bag in Taili two days ago. I found this machine, which grows grass in my heart. I decisively started to pick up radish sticks, green beans and steamed dumpling stuffing after I got it today. Is it too suitable? It feels like the most successful shopping I did a year ago.

This little device works great for the money. It is very easy to use. We learned in order to get the best suction you have to have enough of the bag empty at the top - we tried to vacuum seal something that was bulky and it didn't work until we realized there needed to be more empty space at the top 8*) Also, the seal works good too! Fits in my pantry right next to the tin foil...

The machine works well. It works very well. The food keeps fresh all the time and the whole family likes it.

I've had mine for just about a month now. I've gone through the free bags and started on a replacement roll of bag material. So far I haven't been disappointed. I've vacuum sealed meat, both fresh and bbq, fruits, and several blocks of smoked cheese. I've yet to have a seal fail and I have items that have been sealed for a month. Be careful with liquids and even juicy meats because this thing will suck them right up. I use a paper towel below the seal and it catches everything and seals great. The only knock would be when your using it to just seal the open end of a bag, you have to press down pretty hard. I'm afraid I'll crunch this thing one of these times. Not because it's fragile feeling, it's just a small item and everything has a breaking point. Overall I really like it and I'd buy it again.

This product is great!Before I was just using freezer bags but I couldn’t ever get all the air out and ice crystals would always get on my food and we would have to eat the food more quickly than we planned to keep it from ruining. Now, with this product I can quickly and easily seal off my food to keep it fresh until I’m ready to unfreeze and eat it! I really like how this vacuum sealer is light weight and even stylish. Just make sure to click down on both sides before sealing or beginning the vacuum process and be careful that the open edge is aligned correctly. This has been a reliable and excellent purchase and I would recommend it to anyone.

I’ve only used it a couple of times, but so far, it has been simple to operate and functions as designed. I am certain it will be well used in the years to come and keep our food fresh. The main reason I decided to purchase a food sealer is that I HATE freezer burn with a passion. From my research, this vacuum sealer was the best priced for the features and I have no regrets with the purchase so far.
