Loved this little book. It is written well, w/ great illustrations. Very helpful if you are spiritually attuned to birds and what they mean in your life.

I love birds and am a spiritual person. I believe birds are messengers of information and come around when the universe has a message for you. I purchased this book because a Cooper's Hawk landed on my patio wall 2 days in a row and most bird books are generic and didn't offer the deep spiritual meaning I was looking for. This book did and was so right on with the message it was pretty eerie. If you're looking for photos you wont find any here. if you're looking for a bit more of an explanation on the type of birds then this is a little gem to cherish.

I bought this as a secondary reference after also enjoying "Birds- A spiritual field guide". I had an amazing encounter with a wild sparrow along with a mysterious orb...then I made a You_Tube video about it. I bought this book to help me see if there was a special significance with the sparrow encounter. I saw that this book plus the one mentioned above- both helped explain and better validate the experience. I like the book a lot. Enjoy!

I just finished reading this book today and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. The writing was clear and concise with a nice style that was a pleasure to read. The selection of birds covered in the book was wide enough to cover most of the common bird totems and the information provided about each bird was quite informative. Obviously it is not an all inclusive resource but it is a great jumping off point for study or work with particular bird energies. All in all, a really nice read.

This was actually very insightful. I was pleased with how much this book covered and how in depth it was with out making the subject dry. Pleasant little read for the mystic and bird lover.

Have not had a chance to much much of it. But what I have read I like. Next rainy day going to get into it more.

Nice quality paper and cover, a joy to pick up and read. Good information. Hoping the little robin that has appeared in the garden to sing his little heart out everyday has come to me for the magic, changes and transformation that the book says! He's a very friendly thing and looks for me according to the neighbours :-) well that's because I feed him mealworms! He did land on my front wall when I got home today and does look at me in the eye, wont quite come to my hand yet.

Great resource for myths about birds. I highly recommend this book. Lesley Morrison’s writing is very soulful and interesting.
