GIS Exercises for Natural Resource Management: Fifth Edition

It needs to be more apparent that this product is a supplemental lab exercise book for a specific class taught at Clemson University. It explains the process of competing various lab exercises in good detail, but doesn't explain any theory or background, nor does it provide the actual lesson notes nor does it provide download links to the actual data used in the exercises. Some of the data, like the TIGER shapefiles, can be easily found online and numerous online tutuorials can show you exactly how to do that. But the Clemson-specific data couldn't be found online. I found a website that talks about the data, but it doesn't contain download links. I emailed the professor asking for that data, but haven't heard back from him. Without that data this book is nothing more than a $40 paperweight, and my rating reflects this. I will update it if the professor responds by the end of the week.

Buying the lab manual gave me a color copy of all the labs and I did not have to print each lab off. It was extremely helpful to have access to previous labs quickly without sifting through papers.
