I saw an advert on social media for this type of lighter and was very scceptical of "just another over engineered gadget to need charging". The igniter spark on our gas hob is broken so we have to resort to lighting it with matches or a standard cigarette lighter. The problem with this is a) you burn your fingers because you have to get in close, and using matches or a lighter is messy.Anyway because of all of the above I decided to give this gadget a try. It came nicely packaged and looked good so after a quick charge with the (included) micro-USB cable, I was ready to go. Little tip - there is a safety on/off on the bottom of the lighter as well as the main big switch on the body. I couldn't get it to work initially because I hadn't seen the safety override switch. A quick push to "on" though and the main switch then made it work.The device itself is great. I have no idea how it works but you slide the big switch on the body down and a small "bolt" of electricity (?) ignites between the two prongs at the end. Hold this near the gas hob or onto a candle wick and it easily and quickly lights it. The great thing about this is the igniter prongs are on the end of a long, flexible stem so you don't need to be anywhere near what you're lighting, so no more burnt fingers.The device has four blue lights on the body that tell you how much charge it has but to be honest we use it every time we cook and after 2 or 3 weeks its still on 4 lights (full) charge.Not much more I can add really but in summary, it lights things (the main purpose), its safe and there's no mess or smell. I'm seriously impressed with this and use it regularly so highly recommend it.

My better half like most women likes having candles around the house. On occasion she will ask me to light them for her her which is always a pain as I always end up burning my fingers with the lighter.I saw this and thought I would give it a try since I can also use it to light other things as well like the barbecue and the garden incerator.It has an on and off switch at the base and you just push the switch up on the handle to use it. Also has a flexible neck meaning lighting candles in the glass jars she has is now a lot easier than with a conventional lighter.Being usb and rechargeable also means that we don't have to waste money on cheap lighters anymore. Would recommend this product with no hesitation, well worth the money.

The product feels robust and of quality. Thats where the positivity stops.I've purchased about a year ago and used about a dozen times. Kept in the kitchen drawer with the plastic safety cap on. In that time the electronic striker stopped working. Still charges full so nothing yo do with the charging.I don't recall how much I paid for it but it probably works out to something like a pound a strike. I'm mot a Russian Billionaire so feel taken advantage of.

Long story short battery life is good and it does light what I need. Down side after a few months light use the charging port decided to give out and cave into the lighter. so it's not really value for money now is it.Edit seller reached out about it an did make it right, so the seller really does care about making customers happy and fixing things very impressed with their customer service. Item is good just wondering now if it might have been a faulty one off as it happens. Again seller made it right an was very nice.

It arrives in quite a nice presentation box and comes with a charging USB cable, though note that the cable is stored behind the plastic insert, and the cable isn't particularly long. The quality seems fine, though the body feels just slightly flimsy.The lighter is easy to. There's a switch on the base to turn it on and off to prevent it being accidentally lit, and a slide switch to light it. The battery gauge is a nice touch so you know when to recharge it.The neck is very flexible, allowing you to more easily light things where it might otherwise be difficult if using a match. It works pretty well, but I find that arc lighters can take several seconds longer than matches to light something.

First impression was the quality of the packaging. It felt like opening a new phone and i was quite excited to see what the quality of the product was like.Once opened, it looked like a good quality piece of kit. Very well made and came fully charged.It does what it needs to do, light tea lights and candles, but I did have a bit play outside seeing how easily it would light a fire. No problems at all and could see this as a handy item for the campers and outdoorsy people.Have only had it a day or two, so I've given five stars to the battery life as it came fully charged and the indicator lights still show full.Definitely having a look at the other products from this manufacturer.

Great easy to use product. Comes charges up ready to use.WARNING.There appears to be a very high pitch sound emitted by the device which is very distressing for those that can hear it. My daughter and Sons girlfriend both experienced discomfort when the device was triggered for use. A sound akin to a dog whistle high pitch sound.I couldn’t hear it nor my Wife. But it is definitely there. So be aware if you have sensitive hearing !!

Electric lighter.Small and portable, no flames, completely windproof, great for me that I do a lots of barbecue. Easy and quick to recharge with the usb cable.Automatically turns off when not in use for more than 5 seconds which is great for safety.Package included a lighter and usb cable in a nice box.Highly recommended.5 stars
