A Nice Little Fountain that works
I have waited 5 days to write this review. I now feel that it works and does what it says on the tin. We wanted a small water feature powered by solar, but most garden centres had quite expensive elaborate ones, and all of them required electric power. Took a chance on this particular model after reading reviews of a lot of solar powered fountains on Amazon. It was easy to assemble, nothing to it, immersed it in water, and it started working straightaway. Very good.Experimented with a variety of surfaces - conclusion it needs a fairly deep - like 6 inches deep - water bath - we used a large hemispherical former flower pot. The suction pads on the bottom are fairly ok, but they don't stick for long on terra cotta surface. So, the fountain keeps floating all around the bath with the wind. If it doesn't stay exactly in the centre, all the water eventually goes out, and you will have to refill the bowl. no bother, needed to do it once every morning.Well, it is a nice thing to have, just in the middle of the patio, but the jury is still out on whether it actually lures birds into the garden to have a drink.

Fantastic fountain for a small pond - the frogs agree
This is the second fountain from this make I've bought. The 3.5W means that it works in far lower light levels too help with aeration more effectively. It's a well made unit, works very well and the battery backup does seem to be keeping it going when the smaller unit stops. Although at 8am on an overcast morning, it's not frog proof :) Very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to buy the brand again.

Occassional
Sometimes this works well but most of the time it doesn't. Even on a bright day it works sporadically and sometimes stops altogether. I wouldn't buy another one.

Very Pleased!
The media could not be loaded. I'm really pleased with this product. I bought it just to add a bit of movement to my pond surface and its worked a treat. I thought I would give it a couple of months before reviewing to see how it went and I'm very happy to say it's still working as well as the day I got it. It works well even on fairly cloudy days and there was only one day so far Ive noticed it not running but it was raining all day. I'm in North West England. As it was going in my pond which has lots of wildlife and weed in it I decided it would be a good idea to see if it would float in a pond plant basket, the basket floats and the fountain floats inside that. It stops it propelling around the pond too much and also reduces the amount of debris that would otherwise effect the pump. I've had to clean the pump and nozzle approx every couple of weeks or so which is a quick and easy job (quick rinse out under tap.) It's got a gently tinkling water sound with the fountain nozzle I have fitted to it.All in all I'm very pleased and it was worth the money, even the newts love it because everytime I lift it out there are a few hiding underneath it haha.Highly recommended!

Terrible. Incredibly sunny day and barely a drizzle.
The media could not be loaded. While in theory this should be great, the amount of spray from this is pathetic. The size of the area that is covered by the spray is barely past the fountain itself. The slightest, and I do mean slightest, bit of shade and it turns off. Not that you’d notice given the size droplets of water that come out of it.Avoid. Train a dying fly to gently spit water out of its mouth as a water feature instead. It would have more impact.

Effective but erratic
Worked well straight out of the box and managed to half empty my patio pond as it drifted to the edge and the water sprayed over the side! However, since the first day, it's been a bit stop-start. I think it needs to be removed from the water (it turns itself off automatically) and allowed to charge the battery on good sunny day (when we get one) and then put back in the pond. The attached photo was taken about 10.00am after it had time to build up a bit of power on an dullish day. It lasted about 10 minutes with a rather weak fountain. When the sun does shine the fountain is more effective.

Brilliant fountain! Had for over a year now no problems!
I got this fountain after researching for a few hours and getting nowhere really as I was struggling to find any that stood out! So I decided to take a chance on this one? And I'm glad I did! I've had it in my garden since I got it over a year ago and its still working without any problems 👍😊As long as you remember to clean it each time you refill the water I did mine daily as was needed for birds to drink from etc? It only takes a few seconds to clear out any debris etc and put back together! So easy to assemble I managed to do it unaided and thats HUGE lolIt doesnt stick to the base of my plant plate it does move/float around but that is the only negative i have and actually didnt mind anyway as the birds seemed to like it and it kept the water moving?
