Does the Job
When I looked at the kind of temperatures M2 SSD cards generated, especially under stress, it was a bit scary. I know full well that consistent high temperatures on any computer component causes both performance issues, and to seriously shorten the lifespan of the component itself. There are many reports of cards running at 80 degrees C, such isn't doing anything any good. I installed a Crucial P5 Plus SSD in my PC, and shared three decision to add the Eluteng heatsink at the same time. I have no point of reference as to what temperature the P5 Plus would run at without but, with the heatsink, it "idles" at 35 degrees C, and never got about 55 degrees C even under stress testing. I consider these readings to be perfectly acceptable, and well under the reported temps for a bare P5 Plus, without a heatsink. To me, it is obvious that the Eluteng is doing it's job well, and is doing it at very little cost. It was really easy to install, and the provided heat pads/tapes are very low tack, so there's no risk of damage to the SSD card. The construction of the Eluteng means the pads and card are held very securely. I used the full, screw fixing, method, so I can't speak for how stable it is if you use the rubber band fixings, but I imagine it will do perfectly well. I can't say more than that, other than I'm very happy with it so far

Does the job
Large heatsink fitted ok to 2TB drive and PC. Also recently used the small heatsink and rubber band on a 1TB drive in another PC and full load temperature of NVME reduced from 62 degrees to 42 degrees, well worth the effort.

Perfect
Fit both heatsinks on my two Samsung 2TB 970 Evo Plus drives. I bought this primarily for drive 1 as it's older and runs hotter, since this kit comes with two heatsinks I put the small one on drive 2. I used Samsung Magician benchmark on both drives before and after installation. Drive 1 (large heatsink) went from 68C on the NAND and 83C on the controller to 51C on the NAND and 56C on the controller. Difference of 17C on the NAND and 27C on the controller. Drive 2 (small heatsink) went from 51C on the NAND and 65C on the controller to 46C on the NAND and 54C on the controller. Difference of 5C on the NAND and 11C on the controller. I wasn't expecting such a significant drop in temps, this is more than worth it if you have a drive that runs hot. You'll need to put the thicker (blue) thermal pads on the controller and the thinner (blue pre-cut squares) pads on the NAND modules to ensure proper contact with the controller.

Lackluster instructions, decent results.
The product works! My M2 location is right under my GPU so it runs hot (unless there's a game running where my GPU fans will start up) weird, right? Well, I bought a couple of extra chassis fans and this nifty little heatsink and the two extra fans brought my average, stand-by temperature from ~75c to 50-65c. Then I installed this the next day, and my temperatures are sitting at 50c with a deviation of 1 or 2c. When playing games, the temperature now goes up ~60c which is the same as before installing the heatsink, so it doesn't seem to help in that situation. Edit: Once the temperature goes up, it seems it's back to normal. It must store the heat well originally and then fail to dissipate it properly... pretty useless. The problem? No instructions are brought with the item, so you have to check the amazon listing -> the instructions are confusing and seemingly mislabeled (at-least for the screw-on version) the large blue pad is never mentioned in the instructions, but pictured in the image above.

Excellent results but a bit fiddly!
This is a very simple thing and it works. It can be fiddly to install the M.2/NVME SSD with the chunkier of the two installed, but it is excellent, and I bought it for less than £2, so I am not complaining! The screws can strip rather easily, but that is kind of the trade-off you get, as even at full price this is a seriously effective and cheap little thing. Overall, I highly recommend it!

Keeping Cool
This arrived as an apparently comprehensive solution to keeping my new SSD cool. There were no instructions and it took a few minutes to decide which of the parts were most suitable and how they slotted together but they proved a good fit for the M2 Solid State drive and when the six screws were tightened up I had a solid, secure item to slot into the circuit board. The kit even supplied a screw to secure the SSD to the board. Windows 10 was restored via a backup USB and 1.5 GB of data transferred non stop. I did not hear the desktop fan whilst it worked and opening the computer and physically checking the inside temperature was low. A success and highly recommended.

I ordered it for my laptop (MSI) second SSD & surprisingly it fit even on such a tight space. And I have noticed a 15-18°c temperature drop. Easy to fit and definitely product meet my expectations.

Dissipatore per ssd NVME
Questo piccolo dissipatore della Heluteng è in grado di tenere un po più al fresco il vostro ssd nvme. E' possibile montarlo in due modalità a seconda del tipo di ssd in vostro possesso: se infatti l'ssd monta integrati solo da un lato, allora è possibile applicare il dissipatore solo su quest'ultimo previo utilizzo di una speciale etichetta biadesiva che funge anche da termoconduttore per migliorare la dissipazione. Nel secondo caso, ovvero se l'ssd monta integrati su entrambe le facciate della scheda, può essere inserito interamente nel dissipatore che viene fornito, ed assicurato tramite le viti fornite in dotazione in modo che risulti ben saldo al suo interno. L'intero dissipatore può essere a sua volta collegato e fissato alla scheda madre. Insomma, un prodotto abbastanza versatile che può allungare la vita del vostro SSD garantendone un'adeguata refrigerazione.

Bello e funzionale
Acquistato per dissipare il calore di una nvme (WD SN570) da montare nel mio pc gaming. Ho montato solo la versione "alta" in alluminio che devo dire è veramente bella e ben fatta e nel pc fa un figurone affianco alla scheda video. Il montaggio è semplice e basta seguire le indicazioni nelle immagini del prodotto (supporto a "C" ---> adesivo termico ----> scheda m.2 ----> adesivo termico -----> dissipatore e avvitare con 4 viti). Nella confezione ci sono effettivamente 2 kit completi. In quello usato da me ci sono 2 viti di scorta e 1 altro adesivo termico di scorta quindi in totale ci sono 6 viti e 3 adesivi ma ne userete solo 4 viti e 2 adesivi. Avevo letto diverse recensioni dove alcuni dicono che le viti non vanno bene e hanno fatto il reso etc etc.. Non so se il produttore ha sistemato la cosa o se semplicemente chi ha acquistato non è capace ma nel mio caso è andato tutto bene. Ovviamente dovete avere l'accortezza di NON stringere al massimo una vite alla volta ma di "presentare" le viti e poi solo dopo di avvitarle a fondo. La lamiera "base" è sottilissima e si adatterà quando avviterete il dissipatore. Unica nota è che in base a quale m.2 userete potrà cambiare un po' il modo in cui fa contatto l'adesivo termico. Nel mio caso (guardate la foto di profilo del dissipatore con dentro la scheda) in un lato l'adesivo per forza di cose non tocca bene sia il dissipatore che la scheda perché ha un chip un po alto ed è meno piatto rispetto ad altre m.2. Avevo 2 alternative: o usare un pezzo di adesivo termico "tagliato" e aggiunto in quel punto oppure lasciare com'è e vedere come va. Ho optato per la seconda e la temperatura nel mio pc in game e raffreddato normalmente solo con ventole la temperatura resta sotto controllo. 36-40 gradi circa. Sono molto contento dell'acquisto. Il kit "basso" non l'ho usato ma ho visto che è ben fatto e che è ancora più semplice (è del tipo ad elastico). Spero che la recensione vi sia utile e vi suggerisco di comprare un dissipatore se avete la m.2.
