ChacoWomen's ZX/1 Cloud Outdoor Sandal, Solid Black, 7

i took these shoes on a trip to south america and it was the best investment for my last minute shop. arrive exactly a day before my trip and i had the best experience. didnt scratch my toes, feet as my other sandals did. so i am happy and possible buying this brand from now on. so far they are still looking as new and i am hoping for it to last a little long. i am 7.5 and i got the 7. they are more than perfect on my feet. i love them.

I have been trying to find the perfect Chaco for quite some time. They always made my feet swell or never fit right. I started doing some research on the fit and sizing and determined I needed to size down to a 7 (I am a true 7.5) and find a pair without the toe loop. Because I have a higher arch, it caused the toe strap to tighten on its own, hence the swelling. So far I have had no issues with these EXCEPT the footbed is fading... this started after my third wear of the sandals, within 1 week of purchasing. It is frustrating paying so much for a sandal and they immediately begin to fade but I’m glad I finally have a sandal I can wear hiking and do water sports in.

This is my second pair of Z/Cloud X Sandles; I purchased my first pair 12 years ago and they're still sturdy and comfortable. I recommend Chaco footwear all the time!

They have a softer sole than the "regular" chocos, yet still good support. The arch is not quite as high of an arch, but high enough-because that is the whole reason that I was buying chocos again. I needed a sandal with a high arch!
