I love color 645
I have been using this for 2 years now and get so many compliments on the color and dimension of my hair. People cannot believe it is not my natural color because it has so many highlights and I can't believe I am saving so much money coloring it myself!I have very thick shoulder length hair and am about 25% gray. When I first started using this color I found it was not covering my gray so I talked to my hairdresser about it. He told me to leave it in 25 minutes (which is longer than the box said). Once I did that I got full gray coverage and was much happier. Leaving it on longer did not damage my hair in any way.Now here's another tip that made this color work exceptionally well for me. I used to have strawberry blonde hair but as I got older it got less strawberry and more dull honey blonde. I found when I used the this, the color took more strongly the further away from my roots it got, which did not look natural. So I got a special mixing cup and started using only half the ingredients. I apply the color only to my roots and use my fingers to pull the color down the shaft. This gets more color where I need it and less where I don't. Plus, I am able to use the rest of the ingredients for a second coloring 4-6 weeks later. The only bad thing about this product is that is now discontinued and I can't find another semi-permanent color to replace it. I bought 6 boxes here on Amazon, which should easily last me over a year, in hopes that I can come up with an alternative. It seems everywhere I go, semi-permanent color of any brand is missing from the shelves.

Very Pleased
I am 62 years old. My hair is baby fine and I consider it very tender. My hair WAS a mousey grey. I hated it! When my hair really started turning white around my temples and forehead, it came in platinum and it was well defined and blended well. People would comment "Your hair is lovely, where did you get your color done?" Well, that was two years ago. Then over the last two years it settled into a mousey grey with white and platinum and grey and ash brown. So I took the plunge although I was very anxious because, as I said above, my hair is very tender but I just couldn't live with the color it had become. I decided on Light Golden Brown 630. WELL, I'm here to tell you that Herbashine covered my platinum, white, grey and the little ash brown I had left. I colored my hair maybe 15-25 years ago, and Herbashine color and procedure is very pleasant and improved and I didn't have to air out the bathroom for two days and I didn't have an asthma attack from the fumes. My hair is soft and there are highlights (where the white/platinum was) so it is not a solid color. I AM VERY PLEASED. Can't wait to try other colors or stick with the Light Golden Brown. But I WILL be using Herbashine again!

Soft Mahogany Dark Brown (415)
I love this color! Im a teenager, and as always I wanted something different. I naturally have dark brown hair, nearly black, but after so many times of getting blonde highlights and dying my hair lighter colors, it never went back to its natural color. It was more of a moussy dark brown and shined more of a golden color, it wasnt very flattering. So I got this, to add a little color to it. Ive been getting compliments on my hair all day! People saying it looks so much better, and they love the mahogany color that shines from it when im standing in the sun or in any good lighting. In all my experiences of dying my hair, this was by far the easiest and best experience ive EVER had! It smells so good, you can barely smell the dye in it like some others. It only took ten minutes as promised, and turned out perfect. (: Applying the dye was easy too, expecially considering this is the first time ive done it myself. It was very quick and easy to do. I have a little longer than shoulder length hair and i still had about 1/5 of the extra dye left in the bottle.Overall, Im extremely happy with my purchase. $7 do-it-yourself or $75 from a cheap salon? I chose the $7, and it was the best choice ive ever made. (: I absolutely recommend this product.

Not that great.
This line had good reviews for a demi dye, and I wanted one that would wash out gradually rather than leave a root line as everything I can find in stores is permanent. I have very black hair with reddish undertones, so I just need a little bit of gray coverage so it doesn't look like a long haired white cat rubbed against my head.First, I'll preface by saying I think the stuff I got was VERY OLD. I couldn't find it in stores so I got it on amazon. Mixed up the formula in the applicator bottle the same day and about 1/8 of the way through my scalp, the bottle cracked open. Dye everywhere. EVERYWHERE. Scooped the rest of it out and applied it with my fingers. I got it saturated down to the roots, and then spent the next 10 minutes cleaning the bathroom.Color: Seems OK. More natural looking than some reds I've tried. At the same time, unless I just dyed my hair I wouldn't have noticed I just dyed my hair. I can still see the red-in-the-sunlight roots from the last one I tried, just slightly more muted.Gray coverage: Uh... nope. My silver hairs look less bright, but they're still pretty obviously there, and this is the first 24 hours. I'm sure they'll show up a lot more real soon.Root line: I don't think I'll see any because I can barely see the dye. The root silver it was supposed to tint is still very there.I don't think I'll try ordering online again for dye because I want to make sure I get recent stock.

It's okay
I thought the outcome would be just a smidge lighter, but it's okay. It did what I wanted it to do. I just wanted to update my color. I also purchased two boxes, but one was more than enough. I like that it really only took 10 minutes. I have used Nice 'n' Easy in the past. I thought because this had no ammonia that my hair would come out softer than it did. I even double conditioned after I colored. That was my only other pet peeve. My hair feels slightly drier than it did before I colored. I know that is normally to be expected, but I don't remember feeling that way when I used Nice 'n' Easy. Anyway, I'm not married to either brand. I just wanted to color my hair to look as natural as possible, nothing frilly and it was okay. My hair is colored now, and I don't have to worry about that for at least another month or so...
