Very Sturdy
I haven't used them yet and when I do I'll be using insulated tools (extra insurance). They feel very thick and sturdy. Probably not to the Pro level but I'll only use them a couple of times.

Appear to be fine haven't tried to shock myself
I bought these after seeing our electric company working on my meter using 'real' ones with leather over gloves and a face shield for my 220 service. So I was thinking when I am hooking up cables to a live 120/220 circuit it'd make sense to have an extra level of protection other than just not touching the live wires. The 'real' ones cost a good amount more and I am not an electrician or work for an electric company. These fill my need for an extra level of protection. They do not stink like others have said. They smell like rubber but not crazy RUBBER smell. Used it on Prius Gen 1 battery
Used it to remove and work on Prius battery. The gloves are nice and thick and I felt well protected from the 300 volts that may potentially come from the battery. These gloves are thick and do not expect a lot of comfort from them. They are not a perfect fit but for me using it only for a few minutes, the price is right. I wore leather gloves over them because I read that it gives you more protection in the event that these rip and exposes skin to electrical current. Others complained of a smell but it did not bother me, yes you can smell the rubber but it is only a tad more than rubber kitchen gloves.

These gloves likely would work, but sizing is a big issue.
I generally don't write reviews, and I try to be fair to the seller. In this case, I was able to return these gloves. So, quick feedback. I absolutely think these had enough insulative value to prevent accidents if working on something at home. That's the good part of them. The hard part is that they really didn't fit well. To be fair, I have a small hand. If you think of the smallest gloves or small/medium, that's my size. It's hard to make a product of this type of material and fit everyone. The only other thing I'd say is that they had a strong smell. If they had fit, I might have kept them for that odd job though. I hope I can find an alternative. I gave these a try, and I'm in no way saying they wouldn't work for some. I am sure they would.

Really good gloves for the purpose
I bought these gloves just as an extra safety measure when working with a generator cut-over panel for my well. Because of the nature of how the electrician had to wire things, there's a small but real possibility that if I did something really stupid, my hand would touch live 220v power. So I keep these 12,000v-rated gloves at the generator changeover location and when I need to run the well on the generator, I use these gloves for extra caution. VERY well made, comfortable, and provide plenty of dexterity

DO NOT TRUST THESE!!!!!!!!!!
We use these to move electric fences that have a much lower electrical profile overall than sustained AC current. The other day, just after using these for a month WE WERE SHOCKED. These are not durable and are not trustworthy. VERY DANGEROUS. There is no visible damage and there was no reason for this shock, but it happened and I would not trust my life to these.
