Used it to remove and work on Prius battery. The gloves are nice and thick and I felt well protected from the 300 volts that may potentially come from the battery. Because of the nature of how the electrician had to wire things, there's a small but real possibility that if I did something really stupid, my hand would touch live 220v power.
