I don't write a lot of reviews but decided I would on this because I was debating whether or not to buy this set of sliding door handles to give me a REAL handle for the outside on my door. All I had was what I consider solid door pull, not a HANDLE you can put your hand in on the outside of my slider. Typical of builder grade windows and doors. Since I had just replaced a sliding door at my previous house I knew that they do make handles that have a REAL handle on the inside and out. So I went looking for something to replace the outside solid pull that literally I could only get the tips of my fingers on. RRRRRR Another issue with the old one is that my current door is almost 8 ft tall and weighs a lot. At 62 pulling a hunk of door with a pull with only my finger tips made it hard to open and close from the outside. I measured and looked and looked at options on Amazon and decided this was the one I needed and boy did it deliver. I didn't buy it to replace both handles although I could have. It came with two different sets of screws. Ones to screw both handles in individually from each side and ones to have a female sided screw to come in from outside for the inside screw to screw into. Taking the place of the holes on the old exterior pull. Sorry if you don't know what I mean but if you have replaced one of these you'll know. I wish they would have put that in the description (that it came with two different sets of screws) because it would have made my decision faster. They show in the drawing of the handles but don't specifically say there are 2 sets of screws that can be used. Ok so I was able to replace the outside pull with the one of these handles, use the screws that went from the into to the outside female screw and they were a PERFECT fit. Took less than 10 minutes and I am so happy that is works and was so easy to do. I left the old inside handle and door latch lever because there was nothing wrong with them and although they don't match exactly in size and shape who cares. If it ain't broke don't fix it. So now I have an extra handle and door latch if I need one. My next chore on this door is to clean the tracks and put silicon on the top and bottom framing so it will slide easier....3 years old but the old owner did nothing to take care of it. I am sure this will not really help anyone thinking to buy this set of handles but I can say that if like mine you need to replace part or all of your handles the quality is great and the hardware needed for your door are here. Just measure the hole width, handle length and door thickness to make sure you get the correct one.

The package arrived with it being torn open and missing screws. I contacted the company and they asked if I wanted a replacement and I did. They sent the replacement the very next day. It was installed in 5 minutes and works perfectly. Thank you for making things right.

Great replacement for our "contractor" patio door handle. My wife wanted to replace the old handle that had a D handle on one side and the "nub" on the other side. I opted for this replacement with 2 handles. It was very easy to replace. I only have a couple of minor issues. First, the handle on the outside is great, but now the door does not go flush with the frame when it is fully opened. There is now a couple of inch gap between the door handle and the frame. The other issue, and I hope it will get better over time, the lock is difficult to lock and unlock. It is really stiff compared to our old one, but it locks fine, you just cant use a single finger and it slide like butter.Other then the 2 minor issues, it looks great and we like the 2 D handles.

Fit perfectly and was easy to install. It's been in use for 2 months and works as expected. I would recommend this to anyone.

Locking lever broke off within a month. I really like that there's loop handles on both sides and I have a foot lock on the bottom so I'm not gonna replace it but it was disappointing.

Great handle for the money took 10 minutes to replace the old one that broke 10 years ago I have been using a piece of wood for years, the door is like 25 years plus old , vinyl from Home Depot, love it like new

The outside handle does not have threaded bolt holes to attach the handle from inside, so it will only work with wood doors and wood screws. Only bolts are provided with the set and not wood screws, so it appears the manufacturer either needs to redesign the product or list it "FOR WOOD DOORS ONLY".The sticky pads used to hold the handle in place inside the package leave a sticky black residue on the handle, which is very difficult to remove. Some "sticky stuff removers" will also remove paint, so be very careful what you use!

Replaced an identical but ten year old handle that was chipping. Easy and nothing special needed.

Very sturdy/solid compared to my old plastic handle. Fits perfectly, just make sure you order correct size. Easy to install. If needed, even easy to change if you want to switch for opposite slide i.e. left to right sliding or right to left sliding door

The handles fit like they were from the factory. Not only did they update the door style but made it easier for the kids to use.
