A great read for all mororcycle enthusiast.
Such a fun book to read. I've been into bikes for just under 50 years. This book taught me many facts that I missed, and reminded me of many more that were lost in the back of my mind....

Another good read from Gardiner
This is a great book to toss in the travel bag/briefcase when you have 15 minutes or so of down time as the entries are short, but informative. As the title suggest, bathroom reading is optimum, too. Gardiner breaks up the information into sections of related interest such as ten of Honda's most important bikes; great racers; must ride roads, etc. This is another good book from Gardiner. I also highly recommend his first book, "Riding Man" about his experiences of racing the Isle of Man TT. Great stuff.

A fun trivia book that doubles as a reference guide
What are the ten best motorcycle movies? What are the worst? Who was the best racer of all time? How did the Hells Angels get started?Gardiner answers these questions and more in this book. Broken up into 365 facts (one for each day of the year), each fact is a nugget of motorcycling info that will broaden your understanding of all things on two wheels. The facts at end of the book deal with gear, training, and safe riding. They're mostly geared to newbies, but they still serve as good reminders for veteran riders. My only quibble with this book is that he lists "Riding Man" as one of the ten best motorcycle books on the market, but doesn't mention until the very end that he's the book's author. Likewise, he lists "One Man's Island" as one of the best motorcycle movies, but doesn't mention he's the subject of the movie until he very end. But that's a minor quibble. This book still deserves to sit on every serious rider's bookshelf.

I am a motorcycle enthusiast and am a great lover of trivia
I am a motorcycle enthusiast and am a great lover of trivia. Nothing could be better than this book, outside of riding my Ducati. Well researched and well rounded, I have read this book entirely three times and still find new tidbits of information to share with my riding friends.

One of my best friends owns a bike shop where I hang out. He has the best sense of humorof just about anyone I know. He deserves this book, and I am glad that the author finally got aroundto writing it, we've been waiting !!! I peeked at a few of the trivia. It's well worth reading. This copy will be worn out in a month if it staysin the "Reading Room" at the shop. If you can't read, please consider that the cover art is more than enough reason to have this onhand in your "Library"! Cheers, Hap

I enjoy Marks writing and ordered this book thinking it would be a fun read. This book is very informative full of motorcycle history, once I started it I could not put it down. I enjoyed the short story format, it kept the book moving at a fast pace. It was more than i was expecting!
