Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I've only ever inflated a mattress using a foot pump, it usually takes about ten minutes and the result is often quite a thin, lilo-like effort. Not with this. Inflation is almost completely effortless and requires little more than plugging in and turning a dial. You'll have a fully inflated mattress in about three minutes. The mattress is much thicker than standard, almost to the height of traditional bed, perhaps as thick as two mattresses, say. Deflation is just as easy and only requires the dial be turned in the opposite direction, it's just as quick to empty as to fill. It can be quite noisy to inflate, as the electric motor goes at a fair speed to fill such a large volume, so perhaps it's best to plan ahead and inflate earlier in the evening.It is very comfortable to sleep on, with a raised edge that prevents the sleeper from rolling off on to the floor. The flock coating grips the sheets, so they don't slip around as they might on PVC.It appears to made of quite a tough PVC and can take quite a lot of internal pressure. I haven't suffered a tear, but there are patches provided should one occur.A large bag is provided, to stow the mattress away in when not in use.

I was initially very pleased with this bed and left a five-star review for it. For the two and half months it lasted it was as comfortable as a real bed.After that time it separated internally, creating a bulge which made it unusable.I contacted Sable directly and asked for a full refund as the problem was quite obviously a matter of faulty manufacturing. They refused, instead offering me an 80% refund, as though I had been renting it for that time! I asked again and they persisted with this absurd 80% offer.I contacted Amazon, who immediately processed a full refund.So, five stars for Amazon, zero for Sable customer service and their bed.

When it arrived, I thought there'd been a mistake as the box was so small. - But it is a full size single bed, dimensions as stated, with one important proviso: - The sleeping area is not the full bed, as there's around a 6- 7 cm (just over 2 inches) raised rim around it that is not rigid, and indeed the instructions say not to use. - This isn't such a problem top and bottom, as there's no issues with resting your feet, head close to these areas, but it means the effective width is 75cm. *This is not a problem for one person, but if two small people were trying to crowd it, then it will be.*The weight capacity is very generous, around 300kg according to the packaging, so no amount of festive overindulgence is gonna have it screaming for mercy.And it stays inflated and rigid! Previous airbeds I've had tend to go out of shape or need a large top up of air if left up for more than one night, but this seems perfect. - One slight issue some may find is the power lead (which stores in its own compartment within the bed) is a little short, and you may need an extension to inflate it.When first setting up, there's some specific instructions to follow (very irritating) which means the room is supposed to be warm (21 Celsius+) and you're supposed to wait an hour after unfolding it before inflating *THEN* wait a further 8-12 hours after inflating before using. - Note, you do need to top up the air after the first sleep as it does stretch a little (it mentions this in the manual.)But this is one exceptionally comfortable bed. Recommended!

Excellent buy. My second. We bought this primarily as a day bed for my seriously ill partner.If you have limited space these are ideal for guests, packing down after use, to such a small storage bag. I had always been very sceptical about inflatable mattresses until it became a necessity at the end of last year. Very comfortable, I have been sleeping on the other large one for 4 months whilst my partner is having so many bad nights.I would advise not continuing to blow this up until utterly solid and hard. Let a little air out until you get the level of comfort that suits you. For extra comfort I put a spare duvet under the bottom sheet. Lovely!! Very impressed.

I bought this bed for my son to sleep on when my grandchildren visit and they have his bed. There was a slight smell of PVC when it was first opened but that soon went. We then plugged it in and watched in amazement at just how quickly this inflated, roughly just over a minute. All those years spent camping and the one who drew the short straw blowing the beds up for half an hour, if only these had been available then!! It took a bit of shuffling around to get comfy (my son suffers from back problems) but once he was asleep he said he had just as good a night as if he'd slept in his own bed. It was just as simple to deflate and fold back up. I'm very pleased with it but this is only after using it once.

The air bed is very comfortable easy to assemble and has been used often I needed to return the air bed after a few months as it became faulty. I contacted the company who responded promptly asked me to send a few photographs and details about the fault. They then very promply said they would send out a replacement which they did very quickly. Very happy with the service I have replied and would reccomend this company and the air bed.

The bed is great and is comfy to sleep on.What I don't like is the small note telling me that if Ieave a postive review and email them proof that I did, then i'd get a discount paypaled back to me.On top of that, a friend of mine who recommended me one of these did all the review and email proof stuff and hasnt been sent anything since they bought it 6 months ago.You have a quality product here, you don't need to do scammy and probably illegal tactics just to get good reviews.

What a shame - this would have been ideal. I inflated it and waited until night-time and, oh soooo comfy under the window on this rather hot Summer's night.A few hours later, it was like sleeping on a meringue - infact, hard to get up out of it, as I'd been enveloped by the sides of the mattress as it slowly lowered me nearer the ground. I'm only 10 stone, so hardly a heavy weight.
