Wera 05118008001 Kraftform Micro 2035 Slotted Electronics Precision Screwdriver, 2.5mm Head, 80mm Blade Length

I was doing some work on PLCs and discovered that this screwdriver was being used in the lab, so I purchased my own. The build quality is great and it's comfortable in the hand; the latter being important when you have a lot of screws to work with. Functionality, it's a screwdriver. Not much can go wrong there, but it was the perfect size for the bridge screws and connectors and I feel confident that the tip won't chip. It's a great addition to your toolbox for any precision work.

I purchased the Electronics Precision Screwdriver, 2.5mm Head. It works like its suppose to. The 2.5 mm head fits most of the areas for landing wires in a power panel. Strong enough for its intended purpose and hasnt failed or worn after 100+ uses. I have and only will use this in control panels. Replaced two screwdrivers in my bag with limited high value space.

I needed to adjust the bypass jets on a new cooktop as per install manual (photo). I had a 1.6” 2mm screwdriver which just fit into the shaft of the knob.....put it down there all the way — no screw, nothing down there.I talked to Thermador ‘installation specialist’ tech support, where he insisted over and over again that there was a screw 1.5” down the shaft. He said if I couldn’t find it I would have to call out a ‘certified Thermador technician.’I ordered this 3” 2mm screwdriver: the adjustment screw was actually 2 3/8” down, so this screwdriver reached it easily.A very nicely made high quality tool.

This was perfect for removing screws from a fan that were too deep for a normal screwdriver to fit in. I was able to clean it and put it back together with ease and am happy I got this because it’s something I’m definitely going to be using again in the future.

Maybe 2.5mm is not as good as 3mm, maybe I will get that too to see if is better, but no complains

2.5mm is the best size for being the "tiniest" flat head you own. 4mm is also a good size for tiny stuff but will still be too big to fit that one screw every so often.I default to Wera because I have them already and they've been great. I enjoy the feeling of them in my hand, which is more important than you would suspect in having a quality tool. No tool is too small to get "the best" of and you will find you have a greater affinity towards the smaller tools that you use regularly if they make you happy to grab them. Crap tools ruin this experience. Life is too short for crap tools.

I needed to fix my Dyson vacuum cleaner beater bar but it had those Torex screws in it. Torex screws are usually used in electronics but Dyson put in hex screws for a challenge for those of us who are capable of fixing small appliances ourselves. The screwdriver saved the day. Long enough to fit into tight spaces.
