This is a gift for a little girl that loves turtles. I know she’ll be excited to receive it as she loves to see the one I have.

This lamp is cute. I did have a hard time getting the turtles shell to live up with the base of the lamp and I almost sent it back but I didn’t want to risk getting one that was worse.

I had a cheaper version of one of these for many years which was so attractive to a guest that she asked for it and i gave it to her for Christmas. This one is even better. The colors are bright and cheerful and there is a switch on the cord. I put in a 7 watt LED bulb and just leave it on 24/7 in the bathroom for a night light. Good quality and a fair price for the quality.

I love this! Got this as a replacement for the same lamp. From a distance it's the same but the shell is slightly different. Noice!

Three significant drawbacks with this little turtle:1. he is not made out of glass, but out of plastic; and therefore2. even with a 15-watt incandescent bulb, the plastic shell heats up;3. the instructions do not suggest the size and base of lightbulb necessary. (I've investigated: you need a "chandelier" base, but even chandelier light bulbs are too long. I am presently using a 15-watt T6 specialty light. You can also find little round bulbs with chandelier bases. LEDs of this type, however, seem to exist only in specialty lighting stores.)3 stars because it is a very pretty little item.
