Mystery Ranch: The Boxcar Children Mysteries, Book 4

My 3rd great niece loves these books. I will continue to purchase more books in this series to help encourage her love of reading. Books need to grab kids interest so they will want to read.

My children, ages 8 and 10, love the Boxcar children books. We read them together as a family and we are now on book #13.

You just can’t wrong with The Boxcar Children books. I bought this to give to a classroom of primary students. As a teacher, I found this series to be everything I remembered from when my grown daughter read the books.

Great Series!! I purchased Books 1-4, for an 8-year old...she absolutely loves them. She enjoys reading regardless; however, since she is required to read 30-minutes every night for school, the chapter books come in very handy. More often than not, she reads beyond her 30-minutes, because she wants to finish a certain chapter, and on a few occasions, she has completed the entire book before going to bed. The stories are great, fun, interesting, the illustrations are okay. She looks forward to following the main characters throughout the different series. Highly recommend the books, and will definitely be purchasing additional series.  Mystery Ranch (The Boxcar Children Mysteries #4)

Grandkids really enjoy being able to listen to these on audible with my husband, who is blind. I love that listening to these together has become such a fun thing for them, just as reading them and having them read aloud to me as a child was.

The grandchildren, ages 5 and 7, love the Boxcar Children books. Their father reads to them every night. They are now up to Blue Bay Mystery. I read each book prior to sending it off to them and highly recommend these books. When a book is complete, they say to their Dad, what is next.

お祖父さんのもとへ来た一通の手紙。それは、お祖父さんの妹、Jane大叔母さんの世話人からの手紙でした。Jane大叔母さんは、一人きりで大きな農場に住んでいるのですが、ベッドに寝たきりで、食事も取ろうとしないのです。それどころか、世話人にもろくに食事をさせずに、つらく当たるため、これ以上世話を続けることはできないと書かれています。心配したJessieとVioletは、大叔母さんの世話をするために、農場を訪ねます。今回は、女の子二人が活躍。もちろん、Bennyの可愛らしさも、Henryの優しさもあいかわらずです。話自体は、Mysteryというほどのものでもなく、変わり者で扱いにくいはずの大叔母さんも、子どもたちに対しては、全然意地悪くもなく、ちょっと物足りない感じ。でも、今回は子どもたちの仲のよさがよく出てて、やっぱり微笑ましくてよかったです。
