Bought two for my granddaughters (2yrs apart - 4 and 6) The youngest likes to have the same as her sister and this fits the bill - water painting and ordinary colouring. Both can complete at their level.

Little girl loves this book of magic painting!

What can I say - wow! These books are fantastic!!!!! My daughter is 3.5 and has autism she loves water play and painting. These books are fabulous! I take one out with out when going places as if we have to sit for a while she can paint!She has a few of these books now and they dry and are totally reusable!Highly recommend them!!! Some are better than the others. The animal ones is really slow to change colour where as the mermaid one is quick. This can cause issues as she has to wait till it comes up with the colour.What’s not to like it’s a mermaid painting book!!
