Diversified BCW Boxes Are Not High Qualtiy
I should have paid more attention to the description, because this is not a true BCW box, or it’s a lower quality product from BCW. I bought BCW short boxes a couple of years back, and I was surprised by their good quality. The old boxes were thick, and the handles had a protective folding flap to help with carrying comfort, and box durability.Well, this “diversified” boxes feel cheaper and are made of thinner cardboard. The handles are already getting damaged from the first few times I carried the boxes after filling them up with comics.Another thing, which may not have to do with the manufacturer, but with the store’s storage solution, a box had some water damage. Water damage was on the lid and on the side wall of the box. It wasn’t too bad to hurt the integrity of the boxes, but still, not good. Then the next thing that happened right after finding the water damaged box; the next box literally splits/breaks at the folding point while I was getting it ready. I had to fix the split by using duct tape. Hopefully the tape holds up for a while.I suggest you skip buying these diversified boxes. Get the real (or higher quality BCW boxes). Moral of story? Read and understand the descriptions of the products you purchase on Amazon.

Pretty standard Comic Book Boxes
As good of quality as I used to buy for my own collection, which I haven't in many years. All five in great shape and once you understand how they assemble, it's easy. Just be aware that when your husband needs to rebox his comics and you're doing the work, go with your gut and order as many as you think you're going to need, not what he tells you. Or like me, you'll be placing a second order... sigh.

Great boxes, the handles don't work well, but it is better than the plastic boxes!
I have been keeping my comics in improper boxes for far too long and decided now that I have a lot of comics I might as well buy legitimate storage boxes. BCW is a well known brand in the collecting world when it comes to storages boxes, racks, and mylar bags so I definitely wanted to get their product. The boxes are great overall but definitely can use some improvement. I do wish the cardboard on the sides were thicker. I wish there were more color options than just white, it gets dirty fast especially if you are sliding them around. The really bad part about them are the handles which do not fold over properly on the inside so if you do not have books from end to end there is a chance the handle will pop apart. This doesn't cause the whole box to come apart but the next time you go to pick it up by the handles you will find yourself picking it up by only 1 layer of cardboard versus the 3 layers it should have when it is folded over properly. You also run the risk of the handles pressing on the face of a comic if you don't turn the comics facing away from the handles on both sides. My fixed this problem actually inserting a small bolt through the 3 layers of cardboard that makes up the handle and put a nut on the outside to hold it sandwiched in place. Now the handles absolutely can't com apart and there is nothing inside to press onto my books. I will have to upload a picture of this. Now for those of you debating on whether to buy cardboard boxes or the plastic boxes; DO NOT BUY PLASTIC BOXES. I know BCW itself makes plastic boxes but honestly the cardboard ones are much better. The plastic ones are much more expensive which really would be fine if they were stronger, better looking, and because you have a black option but they are none of those things. Plastic ones still need to be folded into shape but they do not hold their shape as well constantly pulling itself out of the tabs. The worst part is the plastic is too flexible and the long sides of the box started to bow out within a few days for me especially if your box is only half full. The cardboard versions work much better

Its a cardboard box...no magic, no drama!
You have your valued collection of comic books and you need a way to store them. These cardboard boxes will do the trick if you are looking for something to store up to 100-125 or so bagged/boarded current or silver age books. No frills, carboard box and lid. For $8 a box (I paid around $40 for 5).They are easy to assemble, but I am only putting comics < $3-4 value each in them...so an $8 box is holding/protecting $300-400 of my collection in each box. I do have some of the BCW plastic containers and have left a review there. They do the job and better IMO - though pretty expensive (~ $30+ each when I purchased). But to protect 100 books that are valued $100 or more...I think worth it. They come with 1 divider and you can buy insert 3 or 4 more if you are so inclined.Back to the cardboard. They are simple to assemble - instructions on each box. Now the lids did not have instructions but not difficult to understand...no additional tools, tape needed for the boxes nor lids.Durability and Sturdiness? Its cardboard. They are not thin but they are not re-enforced either. Most of the "sturdiness" comes from the design of the box, with folded panels creating support. Good design. But it's still cardboard.Durability? Meh. Its cardboard. Water will kill it. A 200lb man leaning on it will kill it. A cat left alone with it will kill it. Did I mention that it's cardboard? You will want to make sure where you store them is appropriate for cardboard and consider that they are open (hand holes as well as at least one sizeable corner hole where the sides come together). In the end, ask yourself what you are willing to store in an $8 cardboard box. I chose about $400 of comic books that will be kept up high, in an air-conditioned, dark room...away from cats, water and 200 lb clumsy guys.

BCW comic stg. Boxes are the best
Always the brand I use, I like the taller ones the best. But these are still very good and I am very happy with my purchase. I bought 5 for the price break. Which I split cost with my son. He a collector too. It sad that one box cost 11 bucks but buying 5 cuts cost of each to 6 bucks. Most people don’t need 5.

Cheap, flimsy product
The cardboard of these box is thin and very flimsy. The one corner that is glued will split easily if you are not careful when assembling the box. I have bought and assembled dozens of comic book boxes, long, short, magazine-sized, but these are of the lowest quality I have worked with.

Poor Fitting
These boxes are okay but the folds and fitment are not great. Poor cutout mean that the boxes fold poorly to the point where the boxes are uneven or crocked.

Good but expensive
Good product but way over priced. After buying these I was able to find a local store that sells them for half the price.
