Love this stuff
This stuff is great for healing the skin on my finger tips and making them feel a little tougher. They work well to moisturize and absorb into skin. Normally balms tend to linger on the finger tips and are waxy.My only nitpick is this stuff is expensive so be prepared to make it last if that's a concern

Guitar players too!
This cream is an excellent recovery cream for sore fingertips after long tasty face-melting jam sessions

Great for skin care regimen for climbers
What can I say, except that your hands can get shredded climbing indoors and outdoors. This is the "salve-ation" for keeping your hands in good condition to climb regularly.I have been climbing about a month straight after a 30 year hiatus (about 3-5 times per week.) Haven't gotten a flapper, and my hands when I climb look fresh until the end of the session. My hand care routine:Post climb- I use the FrictionLabs file to file off lifted skin and calluses- I apply this salve (and I don't put a ton on it but spot applications)Pre climb- I wash hands and apply this salve an hour before the climbRinse and repeat per climbing session. This seems rather expensive for a salve, but after 5 weeks of nearly daily use (2x per climbing day), I haven't gone through 10% of the container. Definitely don't need to slather it liberally to do the task of keeping your hands and fingers fresh. That said, there are other salves and creams out there that may do the task at a lower price, but this isn't greasy or have a perfume scent or anything that normally annoys me. I can apply it and within 10 minutes there are barely any vestiges of having put on a salve. This will continue to be my go-to salve/cream for hand care as a climber.Hope this helps.

This is the real deal.
As a climber who's always had INCREDIBLY dry hands, I am so thankful I discovered this stuff. Climbskin has worked for me when all other hand lotions are either too greasy or just wash out too quickly without actually absorbing into the skin. This stuff, on the other hand, is made of something different than normal hand-lotion, and you can instantly tell the difference once you apply it-- it absorbs much more quickly and doesn't feel like normal lotion. It has honestly helped speed up my recovery time tremendously after my hands get all dried and cracked from climbing, helping me get ready for the next climb and not have super painful cracked hands beforehand. I also get really bad hangnails, and this stuff has helped repair those a lot faster than anything else I've tried. I would definitely say this product is worth the price, because although the canister may seem small, a little goes a LONG way with this stuff, as it is much more potent than regular hand lotion. Overall, I'd give climbskin a 5/5, and I am already ordering my next bottle right after this review.

Best product for damaged hands from climbing
By far the best of all climbing repair cream products I've used. This is probably the only one that I can apply during the day and go about regular activities, all others are too greasy and I usually only apply them at night. My only reason to give 4 instead of 5 stars is that they don't offer different container sizes. It is very pricey at this quantity, I would love to be able to buy one at least 2 or 3 times the size.

Absolutely amazing!
I started using this immediately after climbing. It only takes a little, and all soreness instantly disappears and my hands are moisturized again.I highly recommend this to all climbers!

Helped with peeling fingertips
I’m at the bouldering gym a lot and my fingertips had been peeling, peeling and re-peeling, I never thought I could lose so much skin. I finally tried this balm and it worked magic for me after just a week of using it. Smells like pine, not greasy at all and a little goes a long way.

This RN's new best friend!
It seems a little pricey before I used it, but after using it once I know it is worth it! I am a nurse, my hands were in awful shape from washing them a million times a day, drying with rough paper towels, dragging gloves off and on, and the delightful hand sanitizer I use constantly many days in a row. I think I could have sanded drywall, without any sandpaper! I have tried all kinds of products, most seemed to help right after I used them, but they were greasy and/or didn't survive the first washing. This stuff is so different, it soaks in but seems to coat all the cracks. The biggest difference is to seems to survive multiple hand washing and my hands are definitely improving! Ordering more now!
