My second Genesis Elite for a Ram 1500. This new one has better sealing qualities on the side rails and redesigned seals for the rear tailgate. Hard to get used to the tailgate seal. It's better than the old one. It sits on top of the tailgate and it's wider to keep out water better and it does a great job. The quirk is that you have to close the tailgate first and then close the tonneau down. Backwards from my old one. After slamming the tailgate closed several thousand times on the old truck, I can't get muscle memory to remember that you have to unlock the tonneau before closing the tailgate. Guess I'll get used to it over time.Install was easy, all parts fit, and final adjustments were minor. About 40 minutes to install by myself. Get some spring clamps to hold the rails in place while you install the clamps. Much easier. The fabric seems to be heavier than the last one I had which is a plus. My old one lasted 7 years and never faded or showed any wear. Hope this one continues the trend.

Easy to install

This is a very high quality bed cover that fits my Ram 1500 Truck perfectly. I’m very pleased with the construction and installation was a breeze. My last cover was a soft one, and this aluminum backed design is much more durable. I’m glad I didn’t the extra money for a solid top. It’s about $300 more, but well worth it. I would definitely recommend.

Overall this seems like a pretty good constructed cover. Install was pretty easy, however I did have to redo a couple steps but that was my own fault. I noticed The latch system seemed to be binding, after closer inspection I found some burrs holding everything up.. after fixing that, and putting some oil on it, it cured everything. Install really was pretty easy.It does not seem to seal the greatest on the tailgate, I will play around with attention a little bit and see if I can fix that.Overall it seems to fit my ram Quad cab with 6.4 box nicely and it looks great! I’ll never buy one from the dealership again!!

I have owned 4 trucks and to say the least, this was the most disappointing tonneau cover I have had. I ordered this October 2023. The material feels cheap. It doesn’t lay flat and holds water. If you don’t put it on exactly right, you will have leaks. It’s flimsy in the wind, I shouldn’t have to wonder if my tonneau cover is just going to blow off. For $300 I would’ve expected something better. I definitely will not be purchasing again.

This kind tonneau cover fits better than previous covers that I have had. I installed it in 5 minutes or less. I did have to add weatherstripping to the front of the bed so the cover would seal and I really feel like that seal and a tailgate seal should have been included since several cheaper covers include one or both of them. Overall I am happy with the fit of the cover, however I’ve only had it on my truck for a few hours at this point so I can’t speak to how waterproof it is or how long it will last. Also I ordered it on Friday and have it installed on Sunday! Amazing.

The tensioner bolts on the side rails are made from nylon and I received my cover with one broken nylon bolt. The packaging allows the heavy side rails to move around in the box so I imagine the screw hit just right and snapped the head off. Instead of sending it back I chose to install it and call them for a new screw. After three different discussions I was told to file a warranty claim. I need to email pictures and purchase documents to them so an engineer can evaluate the damage and claim. Sorry Lund this is the cheapest part on the entire assembly, and you need all that for what a .50 cent nylon bolt? Last Lund product I will ever purchase.
