Great for elementary music classroom.
I purchased one set of these drums, 10 in and 8 in. to try out.I was happy with the quality, so I ordered 10 more sets for my classroom.They have held up well, and the the pitch is consistent within each size, so I can have the kids on an 8 in. while I play a 10 in. and they can distinguish my drum from the others.I plan to purchase more in the future. Great little hand drums.Note: We don't use the wooden sticks that came with the drums, we use the soft rainbow mallets.

nice sound, good value, good for children
I bought these drums to use with children in yoga. We hold poses for a certain number of counts. Children enjoy taking turns drumming. The drums are well made and have a nice sound. I bought one set and after using them with the children, decided to buy a second set.

Great Starter Drums For Kids
I wanted something for 6 year olds that would actually sound like a drum. Many inexpensive drums, bongos, etc reported loose skins or other problems. This would make them sound flat and no better than banging on a book. These sound like drums and the 2 sizes give 2 tones. Might not last forever, but for the price are just what I want. If the kids show interest, I can upgrade later.

These are great for kids and adults to use for play or therapy . They are very sturdy easy to use .

Rugged hand drums with mallet, but...
Great looking drums. Rugged. Good price, but the drum heads are so loose that they have no pitch. I bought 12 and all of them are the same. And no way to tighten the heads. Because of that alone, they are toys for youngsters.

There are two of them
There are two drums with two strikers. The sound is good, and they are easy to hold and play. One of them is smaller than the other and it can store easily by fitting one inside the other.
