Mens Leather Ratchet Belt

I love this belt. I bought it 2 sizes longer because that's what I do with regular belts. The only thing I noticed is that it seems to stretch. I had to cut 4 inches out of it already. It keeps working anyway because it has plenty of ratchet space (plastic behind the belt), but I may not be abke to cut it anymore. So the next time I may have to buy a new one. It's a shame, because its perfect otherwise.Update: I measured it and it stretched 3 inches. I had to replace it because the plastic part started to unsew and it was getting out of the belt. I ordered a new one and had some problems with it. The new belt is thicker, which will probably get rid of the stretching issue and make it more durable, but the buckle had an issue. There is a little tab inside which grabs the plastic part to prevent it from unbuckling. That tab was not reaching the belt at all. I compared it to the old one and it seemed it was not bent to the correct angle. I had to bend it myself using a small screwdriver and a hammer. Now it works correctly. I probably broke the warranty doing this, but I needed a belt...

I'm pretty much between sizes for most clothing, including belts. Whenever I buy a new belt, I can expect to punch at least one additional hole between the existing ones to make it fit properly. That's why I was so glad to find this dress belt that works like a nylon utility belt instead of a leather dress belt. No more punching holes in cheaply-made leather! This one adjusts to whatever pants I wear. I liked it enough after two weeks that I bought another one to go with brown and khaki pants.Initial sizing was easy, and overall it works like a charm! The medium can be trimmed to fit a pretty wide range of waistlines.I haven't had it very long, but it seems pretty durable. We'll see how it holds up over time.

It is what it is. The belt itself may have some leather in it hence called Leather belt. Its quality however is far from good. That's the reason why its price is much lower than other product. I went through 4 belts at different price point to fairly judge this product at 3/5 stars. The buckle's quality is barely passable as well. I would get this if I was still in school and need something cheap that would do the job.Edited 08/20/2018: Thank you for the refund. First of all, this price of this belt - for this quality - is mind boggling. I don't know if they're growing plastic cows in China but if this is real leather, you can't touch this price elsewhere. Second, the buckle mechanism is far more comfortable than the traditional buckle in that the size range is continuous as compared to the descrete hole. Feel a little bloated? Let it out a smidge. Pants creeping down over the hips, cinch it up and no one knows you did it.Who's got the patent on this? I want to buy stock.Oh...GREAT gift idea for all the men in your family for the holidays.

I love this belt so much I bought a couple of more after accidentally losing my original on a trip. I adjust it once and then forget it. No looking for the right belt hole to keep my pants snug. And after awhile a belt with holes gets a permanent crease and look terrible. Doesn't happen on this belt. There are other belts that look similar that I have tried. The problem with those belts is the mechanism that keeps the buckle attached to the belt end (the end that stays connected all of the time) comes lose after awhile. That has never happened to me with this belt. My highest recommendation. Who would think a belt could make such a difference.

I like this belt a lot. The buckle feels sturdy. The buckle's release lever is easy to press. The back side of the belt has marking lines -- 47 inches, 47-1/2 inches, 48 inches, etc., which makes it easy to cut to a specific size. I also like that it is 1-1/5" wide, instead of 1-3/8", which makes it easier to slide through the belt loops. The box it came in was very sturdy and presentable for a gift.I took off one star from my rating because the design on the buckle does not look like the picture on Amazon. It looks a little bit blurrier in real life. In my case, it's not such a big issue, because I wear a long suit that covers up the belt most of the time. But still, the buckle design is visible occasionally.

I received outstanding customer service from this seller. I would definitely recommend them and this product. They were proactive on replacing my defective belt. Amazing!! They cared more about the customer than just making a sale. These people have to be voted the best seller at Amazon. I've never experienced this before and I've purchased lots of things from Amazon.The belt is solid and doesn't feel cheap but the buckle kind of kills this product. This is my second belt of this style. I was pleased with the first one. This one operates backwards and it's hard to tell if it released without pushing the belt further into the buckle. I've literally removed the buckle twice just to get out of it.

I needed a new belt and thought I'd give this a try, I waited several weeks before writing to give it a real test, The belt was easy to order and it arrived ahead of schedule. The belt is easy to adjust to your waist and after use it doesn't show wear marks indicating you've gained or lost weight. good quality, easy to shorten belt as well I ordered it large on purpose and adjusted the length, so easy in under 30 seconds, I'll be getting other colors in the future. the belt looks well made and hasn't shown any signs of use or wear.
