Anchor 2939 Engine Mount

I had major vibration issues with my 2007 ford focus. Purchased the full set of 3 engine mounts and my sons (14,15, and 18) replaced them (90 minutes of do this not that). I was amazed at how quiet the car was afterwards. Took the boys out for a Chocolate Malt for a job well done. So far no complaints. Shipped quickly as stated. Good price compared to others on the market.

I was surprised at how different this felt than the mount that was previously installed in my car. This thing is like 2/3 the size of the OEM (or DEA) one and feels significantly more fragile. I gave it a shot anyways, and 2 weeks later I felt weird movement coming from under my car which I am quite positive is due to this mount. I am giving 2 stars in the case that it's a whole different problem but honestly, avoid this.

Disappointed, much smaller than the OEM, and Aluminum and not steal as the original part. I know it is much cheaper, but thought at least it will be the same size, just did not trust it to do the job.

Well, the pass side hydrolic motormount went out on my zx3 so i decided to buy a whole new set of mounts and replace them all for piece of mind. The car has 160k on it and the mounts were original. With in 2 weeks during stop and go driving or acceleration i would hear a loud bang like the motor was shifting. I drove it to work all week and got it up on the lift on the weekend only to find the mount had been torn badly. The stock one was still in the hatch (glad i saved it) i put the oem mount back on and the car drove fine. So basically i wasted time and money buying this part. I hope the "Anchor" hydrolic mount holds up a little longer.... because the dogbone mount is more of a paperweight and less of an anchor..... :( Save the frustration and buy ONLY OEM FORD MOUNTS.

The price in this was beyond incredible. Ford wanted $95. for it, Rock Auto was @ $38.
