A very solid stand
I had the old steal kind on my Ebike for years and they always went rusty fast and they always had a concerning amount of flex, however this one is very solid and holds the wight of the bike very well and my ebike is very heavy, I was initially concerned about the plastic adjustment / foot part but so far it seems strong enough and i will update the review if it later fails.While this is adjustable out the box, the metal core is made very long and for a bike with up to 29" wheels so for my 26" wheel bike i had to physically cut about 3cm off the metal core which was not had and they have measurement markers to make cutting easy, just make sure you cut it at a point that when the bike leans over the plastic foot is laying perfectly flat, so yeah very tough and adjustable just make sure you have a metal hacksaw if you are trying to fit this on a bike with 26" wheels.

Perfect replacement
Replaced my snapped one of the same brand etc after 8 years so I knew what I was buying.

Works very well when modified.
Nice solid adjustable kick stand. 40mm centres direct mount to rear of chainstay tube.The issue is, the machine screws supplied are M5, but the threaded holes in the kick stand are smaller!!!. Looks like they are M4.5? So I tapped out the holes to M5 and it works fine.

Replacement stand
I bought this stand as a replacement for the one on my wife's Carrera e-bike. Seems to be a nice firm stand so far. The only difference from the original fitment was the m/c screw size, ( this stand has M5 thread's)

Wrong screws.
The screws provided did not fit, screws to big so returned.

XLC Directmount Kickstand
The XLC kickstand itself fits perfectly onto our bicycles.We found that the supplied M5 20mm fixing screws were just too long and we had to replace them with 16mm screws. The replacement screws are readily available and they cost next to nothing; so no big deal.Apart from that, the stands work well and they are fit for purpose.

Good but bad
This is a good strong stand but like other reviews the screws are too short and the threads in the stand are not cut to M5, I have had to purchase longer screws.If you fix these issues then you you will have a good desirable product
