Nikon D5300 For Dummies (For Dummies Series)

Great guide!

Really impressed with this book so far! I’ve learned more about my camera in the first few pages than I learned in the entire year I had my camera. My only complaint is that the pages are a little thin so if you were to highlight (which I did), it may bleed through the page.

These "Dummies" Series Books are the way to go. The typical mfg manuals are not clear or easy to understand.

It has a lot of useful information. If you ignore the subtle dig implying you're a dummy from the title and use the book you'll find it well written and helpful. I think a better title would be "A plain English translation of the Nikon D5300 geek manual."

Very informative and easy to understand. You can read chapter by chapter and the info builds by chapter. Or you can look up specific subjects at a time. Great for people just starting out and also for someone who has some knowledge about DSLRs. Plus it is specific to your own camera. Excellent!

Very excellent reading for helping my learn more and more about my new Nikon D5300. I am now able to do what I did not even know I was able to do. This really has helped in ever single aspect of the camera. Thank you very much. I have used "??? FOR DUMMIES" collection for many new things I have bought and it's really a huge help.

A must read for anyone serious about maximizing the use of the D5300. It covers all the camera features in an easy to read fashion. The illustrations make it easy and simple to follow along. Don't expect to read the book in one sitting, nor to read it and become an overnight expert on the camera's many features. There is a lot to learn and you'll want to experiment w/ different settings before really feeling comfortable w/ all the 5300 can do. Consider it a companion piece to your D5300.

The book is fine but it clearly isn’t new. Someone use it as a flat writing surface and the writing impression are all over the cover. The cover as well is creased at the seam and there is a bit of the yellow spine missing. If it was a gift I would be very unhappy.

I have recently acquired a Nikon D5300. It's my first DSLR, though not my first camera. The book has useful and easy to follow tips on using the camera, especially if you're not used to the DSLR.

Ottimo manuale, sintetico quanto basta, con ampio corredo di immagini e testi a colori. Per chi mastica un po'di inglese o vuole migliorarlo, è una buona occasione per unire l'utile al dilettevole. Cimentarsi nella traduzione dei passaggi più importanti potrebbe risultare oltremodo proficuo.

This is a good quality publication, filled with plenty of detail on the camera.

Overzichtelijke uiteenzetting van de functies van de Nikon D5300. Heldere uitleg, tips en trucs, does en don'ts. Kortom een onmisbare aanvulling op de Nikon handleiding. Jammer dat het niet in andere talen verkrijgbaar is.
