Fun on Three Wheels
Chris Rees book is not just a great reference it's also a cracking coffee-table book... and that's where my copy has taken up residence since purchase. It's fun to dip into when I have a spare moment. The chapter title and index pages are strewn with enticing photos encouraging the casual reader to go in search of the full entry. Cross-references then lead one into deeper exploration. The book begins with a history of the 3-wheeler followed by an extensively illustrated alphabetical listing. There are all manner of vehicles from mass market four-seaters like the Reliant Robin; to one-offs and kit cars such as the Lomax 223; to commercial vehicles and tuk-tuks; to exciting performance cars like the Campagna T-Rex. Who knew the breadth of innovation possible with a three wheeled vehicle?Entries are to the point and waffle-free but some of the more obscure entries sadly lack depth. All in all though a lovely book. I'm now inspired to search E-bay for an old Messerschmitt... probably beyond my pocket nowadays.

A driver's wonderland
I had never expected that so many three wheelers were built since the first one was put on its wheels by Mr Cugnot in 1769! More than 1000 vehicles are collected here and Chris Rees did a wonderful job in describing the major characteristics of the cars in brief. This is the one resource for every car-, transport- or three wheeler buff around. Highly recommended!

Great success
This was a gift for a fan of 3- wheelers who is knowledgeable about them and a discerning reader, writer and collector of transport books. He loved this book and discovered lots of new stuff, a relief for me as these books are a totally unknown field and I've picked some duds before - well done Chris Rees! Much recommended.
