The pillow is cold to the touch and stays cold for a good amount of time while resting on it. Make sure you read the instructions on the papers to put it in the dryer, otherwise I would have never known to do that or adjusted the firmness. There is a small scent that goes away after about 2 times running it in the dryer. Adjusting the firmness is simple, just take out some of the memory foam or add some from the extra bag they give you. I sleep on my stomach and move around a lot in the night so it’s difficult to find a pillow with the correct firmness. I wake up without a sore neck as well (I tend to get kinks often). It’s also been hot lately and in the time I’ve owned the pillow it starts off cool, and while it doesn’t stay cold the entire night, it helps me not sweat as much. If you get hot, want to have a memory foam pillow, or just want a better pillow, I definitely recommend this.

This Codi pillow has been exactly what I wanted. Its like sleeping on a cool cloud, yet still soft and firm at the same time! The product arrived and I could tell by the packaging that this was going to be a great product. I love that the filling is adjustable and while my husband and I can buy the same pillow, we can adjust the thickness. Surprisingly the cooling technology worked and I could feel the heat radiating away from the pillow. the fabric has a very soft and smooth feel, and I asked the company what style of pillow case they recommended. They told me a pillow case with an envelope enclosure or zipper provided the best ways to keep the pillow in in place.Yes, there are cheaper pillows out there, but sometimes you get what you pay for. I think these are priced appropriately for their quality and the comfort level.Highly recommend!

I must have purchased ten different pillows this year, looking for the perfect one, and I think I found it! I sleep on both my side and stomach so I needed a versatile pillow that works for more than just one position. This pillow lets you adjust the thickness by removing (or adding) extra stuffing. It has this awesome stay-cool cover that actually works! The cons are the pillow had a slight odor to it when it first arrived, but after 48 hours of airing it out it was fine. No more odor at all . It;s really well made, and has two different covers (the interior and stay-cool exterior). I removed some of the filler and it;'s now the perfect support and softness for both side and stomach sleeping. Overall quite pleased with this product. Minus 1 star for needing to be aired out before use.

I love the Codi pillow for several reasons:1) the pillow cover is cooling at first touch (even my 17 month old seems to love touching it on warm evenings to keep cool).2) After using it, I've noticed I fall asleep sooner than usual, and it doesn't stay flat like my other pillow, it fluffs right back up without me having to do anything to it.3) I didn't remove or add in additional shredded foam yet, but I do like the fact that you can customize the volume to the perfect thickness.4) it comes in 3 sizes, I ordered the standard size, but I am considering getting two more in the king size since my wife and I love it so much.

WAHHH. I had such high hopes for this product seeing as the highly related reviews.The packaging and product itself look super high quality. Well done.The directions are clear and I was ready to experience heaven.However Codi fell short for me. I’m petite 5’1 and mostly a stomach and back sleeper. I followed the instructions on removing the foam and really tried to make this thing work since it looked so damn cool. (Ha)The comfort level just wasn’t there for me, so much so I had to return.I’m not done, I really didn’t like this pillow, I woke up feeling kinda sick and with a stiff neck. Again, not bashing the product just giving an honest review that this wasn’t the most heavenly experience for me.The cooling pillow case on top did definitely feel cool but I wasn’t loving the material it was made of pressing up on my face. It was like quilty and almost like a scratchy blanket material. I was gonna put a pillow case over it but that would take away the cooling effect making it just like a regular pillow. This cover is what makes it cooling.Thank you, next.

Don’t waste your money on this pillow. It is soft but that’s where it stops. The initial feel is cool but after a couple of minutes it’s gone. Additionally most people like a smooth pillow. The outer layer of this pillow is very rigid and uncomfortable. The only good news is my Golden Retriever loves to lay on it so it was not a total waste..

Bought specifically for cooling but am disappointed. Had a Chillow years ago that was more effective. Cool initially but rather quickly gets warm within 15 minutes of head contact. And it is so slippery that the pillow case absolutely does not stay in place. It is relatively comfortable.

I have been a stomach sleeper most of my life, and I have struggled to find a perfect pillow with the thickness that suits my needs for a better night of sleep until I found this one! I like the Codi pillow because, unlike other brands I have tried, I can adjust the amount of filling to reach the desired thickness that feels best for me. The fabric is cooler than usual memory foam or gooses down pillows, and despite several other brands having issues with strong chemical or plastic smells, I was pleased that there was nearly no factory smells within a few days of using this pillow. Overall, I am very happy with the pillow and I would absolutely recommend it.
