I will never use another type of notebook again!
So this is my favorite notebook. I can't remember the last time I kept checking my orders to see if my order had arrived. Yet here I was like a kid on Christmas morning when it said it was out for delivery and I kind of started stalking the delivery guy by staring out the window and waiting for him to show up. I am the kind of person who likes to make a list and then check it off and then see things clean and finished. This is the perfect notebook for that. I can write everything down, I can check it off in multiple colors of pens, I can feel like I've accomplished something when I have finished, I can then scan it in if I need to or not, and then BAM I can wait to clean and start all over with a fresh slate. I have been such a nerd about this notebook. I may have taken it to a meeting and then sent my notes out to everyone before we even left the room. I might as well have been a salesperson for this company at this point. The notebook is kind of like a blankie now and is with me all the time and no one is allowed to touch it.Now that we are all stuck inside our right down hey checklist for my kids each day for their school work then scan it and print it for them so they can mark it off. Because everybody needs to have a list to check off and feel accomplished.I love all of the different pages. I wish there were a few more for the objective key results action reflections page. And I wish that they didn't actually have headings so I could use my own. That is the only page that bugs me because I scratch it out every time. I do wish there were a few more line pages instead of all the dot grid but I love both. I love the feel of the pages and they feel especially great to write on.I am hopeful maybe there will be additional pens in the future that were faster to try so I didn't have to wait so long before using my highlighters. I am a bit scatterbrained so by the time it dries enough to use the highlighter I may have forgotten what I was supposed to highlight to begin with.I really love the weekly planner pages and the task list pages.I love that I can just cross off a box at the bottom and it tells it where to send once I scan it.I do like they will automatically put the title in to my scans as long as I put hashtags on them.hHowever I kind of wish you just had a title box where I could write my title along the top line without having to have the hashtags that look weird in my scans.I am very glad that you have a page at the very beginning that allows me to remind myself where each thing goes to when I scan it.I love that you can combine pages when scanning.I would love to have the ability to have the OCR be a part of my PDF instead of being a separate file so I could keep my stuff slightly cleaner digitally.I just really love this notebook. And I know that I don't NEED one of every type of notebook that they make, but man, I REALLY WANT THEM ALL! I mean in reality, it's cheaper than all the journal books I've ever bought and I can save or delete whatever I want. I really want all the colors of pens too, but so far I am trying just to be happy with the three that I have in the highlighters. But wouldn't it be great if we could doodle with like all the different colors of colored pencils and have them dry enough for us to do that with and then scan in our drawings? I feel like that is something that will eventually happen in the future. This company seems to be forward thinking and it's fairly rapidly coming out with new options. Things can only get better for this type of notebook.Seriously, we all need this notebook in our lives.Oh, I also wish it came with two of the nice little rags so that I could have one to wipe off with and then one to clean off as I did it. Or maybe even three that way I could have a dry one so I wouldn't have to wait for it to dry. That's probably asking too much but it would be nice.

Versatile & Easy to use
I've been using my Rocketbook since 1/1/2021 and I'm loving it. I was burdened by all the filled notebooks that I had and needed to keep, just in case I needed to refer back to my work notes. It's hard to find something you know might be in there without knowing when it might be. Enter Rocketbook. I can OCR my notes (with some corrections) and if I need something Windows can find it. I tested this feature out after accumulating a couple of weeks notes (saving each day as a separate file) and then asked Windows to find a particular phrase. It worked beautifully and finding multiple instances of that phrase--one I didn't even remember writing down.Ideally I would scan and OCR my notes daily, but in reality I do it about once a week. This means I have to set aside a little more time to correct the OCR translation of my not so great handwriting, but well worth it in the end.Though I bought a variety of Frixion pens, the ones I use every day are the ball clickers (.7mm). They write fairly well and scan easily--even the pink pen comes up well in the scans. I haven't used the markers as much for everyday notes--too thick. It's recommended that you use a spray bottle & a micro cloth for cleaning. I do that, but for everyday mistakes that's a little hard. It is NOT recommended to use the erasers that come on the pens--they not only smear, but the can remove the coating from your Rocketbook pages. I've found that using a water pen & a Q-tip works great for correction in little areas. The pen I use is: Pentel Japan Aquash Waterbrush Water Brush Pen, Fine. It gets into small areas with precision; I then use both sides of a Q-tip--one for absorption of the water & ink, and the other to dry. This allows me to make quick corrections and continue on without "waiting for the page to dry."When I do my mass cleanings (about every 2 weeks), I use a soft wet rag and a dry micro cloth. I wholesale wash down the pages and dry them. This process is a little slow as the drying does take time. I've tried it with the pages bound and unbound and have only seen a little improvement on the drying time of the unbound pages. One note I have is that right after I've cleaned the pages and they are dry there appears to be light impressions from the pen that are still there after cleaning, but after a couple of days those impressions disappear. My first (two) Rocketbooks were of the Fusion variety, as I didn't really know what I wanted. I like some of the planner pages and the lined pages, but only used the dotted pages when I ran out of lined pages. I have created some two page calendar pages using the dotted pages, but for me they weren't as useful. When I originally got the Fusion book it was the only one with lined pages; at that time the Core only came with dotted pages, but now they have a version that is all lines. I've added one of those to my inventory. If I had to go back and could do the purchases again, I'd probably still get the Fusion for the versatility, but my other book would be a Core lined. At the bottom of every page are 7 icons. You can program them to be locations to where you want your scanned pages to go and what actions you want taken. For instance, I have two set up for personal notes/scans--one for email & one to go to my G-drive--both with OCR. I also have two set up for work notes/scans, but in this case they are going to my work email and my work based OneDrive--again both with OCR. If you were in school and part of a study group, you could make one of the icons go to a group email or to a group accessible cloud storage. The versatility here is endless. All in all I'd recommend the Rocketbook. At $35 for 42 pages it might seem high, but think about some of the other alternatives and their expense. I tried several more expensive options, and none of the others worked like I do or made it as easy to see and retrieve my notes.
