These curtains are very nicely made. I ordered the white rod-pocket curtains (with black on the inside for total blackout effect) and I am so pleased with my purchase! The material is soft and supple, high quality, and they hang beautifully. I have also purchased these blackout curtains with grommets and they also are thick and beautifully made, just make sure you mount the grommet-style blackout curtains high enough to prevent the sun from shining through the grommets. The rod-pocket style can hang from a regular rod, and for a very easy installation you can buy a tension rod and mount the curtains inside of the window casing. I have purchased 8 pairs of this particular brand over the past few years and remain very pleased that they still look brand new, they still hang beautifully and look great.

After a long search for white, "true blackout" curtains with pockets (not grommets) that can hang on tension rods, I hope this review is helpful to some. These 63-inch curtains *just* fit over my windows. So because their hems/pockets are big and not fully backed with black/blackout material, that means a bit of light shines through the top and bottom. This is disappointing, but the appearance of the curtains is so good compared to others that I let it go.The curtains are truly white (not ivory) and pleasantly soft. I wish the backs were light gray (like a longer version of these curtains offers), but I didn't see that option. Little magnetic "tie backs" I'd used with lighter-weight curtains don't work well with these, but again, that's because the fabric quality is better.I would order more of these in the future. I'd just make sure they were wider and taller than the actual window.

I know my curtains don't go to the floor BUT I love them cats and kids are an easy way to tear them down. This is my second purchase for my office as all the sun hits it. Saves on AC and helps everyone sleep in.

These are really good heavy curtains. Material is good and they keep out a considerable amount of heat so I can assume same for cold. Very happy with these. I got two white ones

I have these in 4 rooms of my house. They really keep the hear out in the summer and help with the chill in the winter. My kids have no issues with naps because their rooms can be really dark in the middle of the day. 100000% recommend

I love that these black put curtains really work! When I take naps during the day my room is extremely dark. They are also thicker material than other brands.

I got these curtains for two reasons, to help block out the sun in the afternoon when it makes my room really warm and to block out the sun when I'm streaming earlier in the day. I purchased a curtain rod made for black out curtains that turns the curtains inward to help remove any light leaks from the sides.The curtains work great, but they are a bit wrinkly. I washed them first and dried to see if that would help, but it did not. I ended up just throwing them up because it's not like anyone but me is going to see them. I might try and dry them with an ice cube in there to steam it, so I'll update my review whenever I do that!

This is my second purchase of these curtains. I previously purchased them for a boyfriend’s apartment.They are thick and do the job of blocking out light or draft.I needed something to keep light out of my office/ bedroom .From my pic , They could use a bit of ironing on my end but whatever.Now you could make this into a stylish curtain but by themselves they are not stylish , for me they are to keep out the sun.

Bought these for our bedroom with a special blackout curtain rod, and they let in ZERO light when closed!!! I'm really impressed with these! They are made of a heavy fabric and are really good quality! Would reccomend!

I have not hung them yet but the blackout seems to work well. Need to press them but considering theyare shipped folded that is acceptable. Love the fabric and is the perfect white for what I need them for

Bought these after a renovation of our bedroom. Absolutely beautiful great quality. After a day of hanging all wrinkles were gone without steaming. Heavy duty looks and feels like good quality hotel curtains. With the black backing keeps the light out for a perfect blackout effect. Due to the thickness you cannot even see the size of the window or light through them. Bought another set for our living room due to being so high end.

I was surprised by the quality of these curtains. Their thick and heavy. I love that their not sheer and are thick enough to be blackout curtains. They cam also be considered thermal as well. Don't hesitate to purchase them!

Love them, I bought a couple other brands that claimed to be black out and didn’t live up to the claim but these are 100 percent blackout. Bought to keep my room cooler as the sun was making it overly hot even with central air. They have definitely helped and I love how they aren’t the ugly suede like material I normally associate black out curtains with. I took down my sheers and put these up instead behind my regular curtains! Included picture, it’s currently morning and I have my blinds open, the middle light shining is because they aren’t fully closed and the curtains I layered over the black outs are sheers so you can see the quality of how well they work. Will be buying more next summer to try and keep the hydro bill down
