Very pretty necklace. I had a hard time deciding between the white or the blue. Although the blue is striking and beautiful, I decided the white opal would go with more outfits. It is very shiny and very pretty. The chain is extremely thin, and probably needs to be replaced, but I will do that when I have time. I had seen this necklace before when searching for an opal necklace, but it was $100 and something in price ($127?). I got it for the lightening deal of $27. Which is a very good deal in my opinion. Comes in a cute blue box with a white bow that looks very similar to a Tiffany box...far from it, but a cute box none the less. It is my Christmas gift to myself. My son was born in October and I have always wanted a piece of jewelry with opal in it for his birthstone. I have never found anything I liked before...but I believe I have found it!

I bought the first one for my sister. It is a very pretty necklace. It came in a very pretty box. Then I bought 2 more one for myself and another for my granddaughter. They weren't in pretty boxes. The necklace and pendant were each in a little bag. They were in a black box that you could hardly get open. We love the necklace and that we now have matching necklaces. Chain is a little flimsy. But we still really like it.

This was a gift for someone who, let's just say has expensive taste. I was a little nervous to order it but it was what I liked. SHE LOVES IT, and it looks alot more then I spent.

The common theme I got from the other reviews, which usually ensures a good Amazon purchase held true. The necklace itself is very nice for the chain is weak and the clasp is tiny. The second time I tried to put it around my girlfriends neck the tree went timber and fell to the floor. Luckily I have catlike reflexes and put my foot in front of it before it made impact directly to the tile (as I do with my phone) sounds like I'm going to spend another 50 bucks buying a chain and clasp that will do this necklace justice and get my girlfriend off my back temporarily...

This is a beautiful necklace. It shimmers and shines and is very artistic. The chain lays nicely. I have only one complaint, but it is enough to give this necklace only a 4-star rating: the ring that the clasp hooks through is WAY too small! It was so hard to grasp, I probably tried 10 or 12 times before I was able to hook it together. Very frustrating. If I'm ever in a hurry getting ready in the morning, I will probably skip this necklace and go for one that takes only 1 or 2 tries. Once I FINALLY get it clasped, I love it.
