Yes, you need to string the banners yourself. But it takes all of 10, 15 minutes total. Just lay it out first. I like it because you can customize the size to fit your needs. Any left over pieces not used in the banner can be used as table scatter or other decor... it's a very cute set (you do need to attach the two cake sticks to the back of the cake topper as well). If you are doing a flamingo theme... this is a high end, custom look for a very very low price (comparably)

I got these for my son's birthday. They seemed appropriate for a summer birthday. They looked fantastic and brought a smile to my son's face, despite it being kind of an awful week in general. (His 13 year old cat was diagnosed with advanced cancer.)I was grateful that the decorations cheered him up a bit

Exactly as described with vibrant colors and well put together! Although it’s not a toy, the main part is super flimsy but don’t think you could make something so delicate, sturdy. This is the best bang for your buck!

Very nice cake topper. It is delicate, but that's part of what I loved about it. It is super easy to use, and is very well made. Also, the shipping packaging is excellent to protect it. I repackaged it after I used it and will get more uses out of it in the future. I would absolutely looking to other products by this supplier because I really like to classy look and feel of this item.

I was pleasantly surprised that the quality of this product! Colors were very vibrant it came with three pieces which was perfect because I was able to use one of the cutouts for a smaller cake that I had in addition to the large birthday cake.

No directions but figured our pretty quick how to assemble it. Looks really nice and folks complemented us on the banners. I just made two sets, one with Happy Birthday all across to post it across a larger opening and one with the flamingos. pineapple and palm tree.

Even though the seller did give the dimensions of the flamingos, the pictures they included on cakes were VERY deceiving! I included a picture of the flamingos next to a child’s spoon to give a reference. There is just no way those cakes are the size they look like in those pictures.
