This rings / trapeze bar combo is a big hit with our children.A few measurements:- The bar is 18 inches across but the chains are mounted 16.75 inches apart. So the width is OK, but for our use I wish it were wider. (Though some may prefer a more compact bar to fit in a swing set).- The chain is about 36 inches long, a little longer than the specifications (thanks!). About 20 inches of that is covered with a thick plastic coating to make it easier on childrens' hands.- The links of the chain are about 3/4 inch by 1-5/8 inch, but the space inside each link is only about 5/16 inch. So keep that in mind when thinking about installation. To connect the chain to your hardware, you may need something like this  1/4" Quick Link  (just barely fits through chain) or this  3/16" Quick Link  (plenty strong) that's small enough to fit through the link of the chain. You could also use quick links to add chain, if you need longer chain lengths where you are installing it.One installation tip, if you're not using a bolt that goes all the way through - be sure to use a screw eye with a shoulder like  Forged Shoulder Eye Screw, 3/8 by 2-1/2 . The shoulder helps keep the threads seated with loads from various directions (angular loads), such as a swinging child. Without the shoulder, the screw eye is much more likely to become loose.My kids did a lot of things in the first five minutes that made me glad I'd gotten heavy duty hardware (rated for 3-5x the weight I expected on the bar).Finally, we use this indoors and use a  Folding Panel Gymnastic Mat  over the hard floors underneath.

This trapeze/ring combo swing is a very nice piece of equipment. Very sturdy and my 5 year old daughter is loving playing on it. The only reason it lost one star is because the plasticized molding on one of the rings had a flaw in it that left a very sharp edge inside the ring that I didn't notice when hanging it. It was sharp enough that it actually cut my daughter's hand. It was easily enough removed with a sharp knife, and luckily the molding was still unbroken/continuous around the D-ring underneath the flaw, so there was no harm done to the durability of the set by my cutting off the molding flaw. Still, it would be nice if this sort of thing had been caught by the manufacturer so that my daughter hadn't gotten injured by it.Flaw aside, it is a very well built set, and I would purchase it again. Just make sure to look it over and cut off or smooth out any sharp edges that might have been left during the manufacturer's application of the plastic coating.

Mine is different then pictured. Mine is has a green coated chains with a yellow bar and black handles. The reason I picked this one is because the handles in the picture are triangular and I thought that would be easier for my 5 year old to grab and hold than the pure circular ones, well, the one I got delivered has circles. I'm also not a fan of the way the bar attaches.I gave it 3 stars because it will make due, I'm not going to return it, but it is not what is pictured.

I thought I had ordered a green one like the product photo showed. A tacky blue and yellow one showed up in box at my door after waiting almost a week even with Prime shipping that I pay for. Sending it back as it's not green and won't match!!!!!

Our daughter who can reach will play on this to the point of exhaustion. Her sister will whine because she's not big enough to play on this yet. I think that makes a good addition to their swing set.

Perfect! This was the only gift my daughter wanted for her birthday. It fits perfectly on my set and is long enough for her to use at 5, and can be raised quite a bit as she grows. Great purchase. It's well covered so it won't pinch little fingers.

I am giving this one star because the description is incorrect. The description states that it is green, however when I received mine it had a blue chain with a yellow bar. It appeared to be of good quality but I did not open the plastic packaging because of the incorrect color.The description needs to be updated/corrected.

Great addition to a swing set for our daughter who is in gymnastics. She has a blast on this trapeze! Well made and no signs of rust as I have read in prior reviews. We have had it set up and out in the weather for 6 months now.

Great product. My 5-year old loved this on her jungle gym. Can remove the bar to make it more like gymnastics rings. The chains have a nice heavy coating.

This item is just what it says it is. It is very stroong and sturdy and quickly attached to my existing swing set. My grandchildren have been enjoying the additon to the swingset. It is a hit. I am happy because it is very safe and strong. It was a much better deal then I was finding in any of the department stores.

Amazing quality. Very durable. Our children love it. The rubber is thick, cleans well and holds adults or children.

My kids love this. It's great exercise for them as well.
