My new favourite string
I first tried these bass strings when they were on special offer. They sounded fantastic on my old Fender Precision. The slight coating is smoother on the fingers than I anticipated, but they dont affect the sound. I play old classic rock fingerstyle and with a pick and am more than happy. I dont like really bright zingy strings and these are not too bad.

A bit meh
Don’t really last any longer than uncoated strings and sound dull. Not for me. The only plus is that they’re cheap(ish) but even then I would rather pay more for better quality.

Precio injustificado
Las cuerdas suenan bien y no he notado ninguna diferencia entre las daddario normales, sin embrago tampoco he notado que duraran mucho más que las normales (unas 3 semanas en vez 2 y media). No volveré a comprarlas.

Nice strings that retain brightness
These have been great for my p bass that doesn’t get used often. They seem like new after months. If you want a string that doesn’t get dull, give these a try. I can roll the treble off to get that fundamental thump, roll it back up for a brighter sound. Nice strings!
