This is the second time i have used off brand drill batteries and they have worked perfectly both times. The dewalt batteries are just to expensive for a ten year old drill. these batteries are priced right and I'm abl to keep my drill working perfectly.

For a third the price, it seems OK. I've only used it for a few cycles. Under load, it seemed to bog and stop fairly easily- but this was a heck of a load- 3/4" spade bit through 3" of old framing! I'm gonna charge it now- and see. I'd like tpo keep my older 14.4 DeWalt tools and this might be the answer.

I needed to replace the old batteries in my Dewalt tools for the second time in about 20 years. I didn't see the brand that I had purchased previously so I went with these. I haven't used them much since it is winter, but they are still holding their charge after quite some time and seem to have plenty of power. I am quite sure they will perform as good as the previous ones for several more years.

I ordered this based on others' positive feedback and the fact that it was nearly 1/3 the price of the OEM replacement for my DeWalt 14.4V drill. The battery arrived well-packaged and mostly charged. After charging it fully, it ran my drill just as quickly as my factory XRP battery. The battery fit snugly with no slop and feels as sturdy as OEM. If mid- to long-term usage highlights any shortcomings, I will update my review. As you might expect, it is 'Hecho en China.' My only quibble is the sometimes balky release catches, but I can't deduct points because all of my OEM DeWalt batteries have that issue! UPDATE: The battery died on 9/22/2014 after only occasional usage over approximately 15 months. It was operating normally then suddenly died and will no longer accept a charge. My factory batteries usually last at least five years so I am downgrading my rating to a three-star.

Needed a new battery for my DeWalt drill but refused to pay full price for a new DeWalt battery replacement. Read product reviews for PowerRoom and decided to order one. Came in a timely fashion and I immediately put in in my charging stand. No problems. Used it installing 41 under eave covers each having six screws. Finished with power to spare. Very happy with my decision to buy and would highly recommend this battery replacement.

I ordered this item Sept 26th and received Oct 3rd. First impression was that these batteries felt well made and they easily inserted into my DeWalt DC728 drill with a nice sounding "click". They were removed from drill and charger very easily with out a louse fitting feel on either item. Everything fit like original DeWalt products. They even look much like the DeWalt batteries with a yellow color where the stem meets the black base. Inscription on side of base reads "Vanon 14.4 Volt Which gives the battery a look much like DeWalts product. There seems to be many manufactures of these batteries, with various complaints, however I am really impressed with this manufacture's product! I used a 1" blade drill on a 4X6 wooden beam with No lugging down! Very impressive!!

I have a Dewalt drill that I did not want to throw out just because the batteries died. But for the price of 2 new batteries, I can purchase a brand one (with higher voltage - 18V). So, I searched and found this generic replacement and so far, I have used it 2 times and it works just great. So, I will come back to this review in 6 months and update you with how its working.

After about 10 months they started losing ability to hold a charge. They go dead in about a week even if not used now.

Very happy with these batteries:) DeWalt charges an arm and a leg for theirs, and these work fine, and they're significantly cheaper. Also very happy with the service, everything from the packaging to speedy delivery:)

Had been looking for dewalt 14.4 volt battery for a long time . This battery is perfect . Was partially charged . Placed on my dewalt charger and works great . Excellent price .

The product is perform good as dewalt batteries. Also the product is delivered on time.

It does not click into place very well for the drill or the charger base but it will with some force. Still seems to work so far.

I bought the 14.4V battery few months ago, so far it works flawlessly. I am buying one 18V and one 14.4V from the same supplier.
