Decent material, arrived in good shape. Ultimately, this is NOT a holster for effective carry. As another review mentioned, you cannot carry with the hammer back. While you CAN force it to snap with the hammer back, you end up with 2 problems. First, it's now somewhat loose in the holster. Second, the thumb safety will consistently disengage during normal carry.This is a reasonably well-made holster, but designed poorly. You aren't going to be able to ask the bad guy to wait a moment while you nervously try to thumb back the hammer after drawing.

Almost perfect in every way! Quality is fantastic and it was really easy to break in. The draw was also really smooth which is definitely a huge plus! My only issue, which is just my personal preference, is how it snaps shut. I prefer that to be on the outside of the holster for a quick release in the event of an emergency. On the positive side, it won't budge unless I am doing some type of parkour with it being un-snapped.

This holster is made of very thin leather and will wear out soon if used every day ok to use as storage protector

Fits my 1911 great and comfortable to wear. No issues with it. Have same brand and style for two other handguns I carry.
