We bought this device to watch over our house while away on vacation. We had folks coming to look after our pets and clean the house and I wanted some confirmation that they were onsite as expected. The wide video field was very clear and the motion detection was pretty good. It did get fooled by shadows/reflections from cars moving across the ceiling, but that wasn't a regular occurrence.While on vacation I was able to stream the the video of the notification events and live streams very easily assuming LTE or WiFi. The night vision capability was very good, providing a well-lit image. I chose to use SD video for streaming. It had excellent clarity and detail. I checked out HD, too, and it is excellent, but wasn't necessary for my needs.I used the sound feature just enough to confirm it works, but in the interest of bandwidth I generally kept it turned off.The build quality is very good. The device has nice design with a small footprint. The long (long) USB cable is appreciated for placing the device in convenient locations providing the best field of view.No complaints. I recommend it over the fancy expensive units it competes with unless they offer a something specific absent here.

Good little budget camera, great picture, great night vision. A couple issues. Sluggish control response and will randomly decide to go opposite what you're trying to do. Also randomly decides to just rotate to another view for no reason, which makes the sometimes spotty controls more of an issue than it would be otherwise. In addition it is way too sensitive as a security cam, so this may be better purely as a nanny cam. If the light level shifts, as in a cloud passes by, you'll get an alert. Not a bad thing per se, but it gets a bit "boy who cried wolf" and you may ignore an alert that you shouldn't.

The night vision has a terrible ring in the picture. Design flaw? the intelligent tracking finds the brightest which is not very intelligent. there are similar cameras for a better price with same low quality. Daytime picture is good and setup is easy. If I were to do it again I would purchase a different camera. No free cloud says expired and asks for payment. Guess why!! Should be priced at least 10 dollars cheaper compared to similar features of cameras available.

You would be better off hiring a blind sketch artist to keep track of what's going on in your neighborhood than to rely on this. Save yourself the headache and keep looking for another camera. The app is on par with the camera as well. But hey if you need a cheap camera that you don't mind having to reset every few days, than this is the camera for you. Note: camera will break into a lot of pieces when thrown aggressively at a brick wall.

I could not add the device. I selected my wi fi and put in my password but it kept saying password error. I did it 10 times and I know I did not type in the wrong password to my wi fi all 10 times. Disappointed I haven't been able to use my device yet.

Poorly written instructions (in a microfont) that don't correspond directly with what's on the app. "Steps" in the app that never complete or tell you what to do next. STILL haven't gotten this thing running. Also, it is totally not clear if you can even use this thing without buying into their cloud service. Endlessly frustrating.

Set up is time consuming and complicated. It doesn’t want to read the scan code when trying to pair them. After finally setting it up about a week later I got new WiFi and then I went to try to repair it to that WiFi and it refused to work. Even after resetting the camera. Camera itself is decent quality but feels very cheap like plastic. Also the sensor that picks up motion is very sensitive but I read that there was the option to change the sensitivity which is NOT true. Would pick up even wind blowing in from the window across the room. I had to return because I couldn’t reconnect it after getting new WiFi. Too much stress

First installation is not very hard. It has instruction. a small handy book inside box, just follow the steps to install the camera with wifi will be ok. When using camera to scan barcode on cellphone, just to make sure the environment has enough light for scanning. Then the connection of cellphone and camera has been done. Once it connected, it never lost. Connection is steady. Both video and photo are taken very clearly.
