Yes the blades are thin enough. I used one tonight to loosen cupcakes from the pan.

How many inches thin are these at the "blades" v.s. the handles?

The handle is about 3/16" and they taper down to about 1/32" at the blade maybe less. Measurements are probably not exact, but the blade is very thin compared to the handle.
