If you've got a histology lab, and are drowning in boxes of microscope slides, this solidly-made little cabinet may be the solution. Beware that with this type of storage adjacent slides have no space between them, so it's not suitable for slides without coverslips, unless (as I did) you make spacers of some sort. You may also want to cut 1" x 3.375" dividers from card stock (see attached pict). Finally, little foam blocks are needed to keep the slides upright and in place, and Boekel provides an inadequate number of flimsy ones (and will sell you more at a ridiculous price). Instead, buy a piece of ½" thick soft neoprene foam from McMaster.com and cut your own.
