Remarkable figure
I was immediately impressed by the clear tendrils on this figure, since they were not depicted in the official shots. I believe that this is one of the most extraordinary TOMY figures to date, exhibiting an impressive amount of paint detail and being quite striking as a hyper size figure (and, you know... because it's Mega Rayquaza). Rayquaza scales nicely with Primal Kyogre and Groudon from the same series and is an eye-catching synthesis of Kyogre's translucent detailing and Groudon's imposing appearance. My only gripe is the ridiculous stand--a cardboard cutout--for such a nice figure. However, I'd imagine Rayquaza would look nice on a hanging display. Overall, excellent quality and appearance, arrived in good condition in a timely manner.

Thought I'd receive the Japanese version but it turned out to be the Korean one. The cardboard stand is also different from the one shown in the review of another buyer. The back of the box was damaged.

It’s… small
You know that one SpongeBob episode where Plankton finally admits he’s small? This is what this toy reminds me of. It is a lot smaller than my son and I thought it would be. He says he doesn’t mind and will keep it but I have a hard time justifying the money spent on such a small toy.

Very disappointing
Very disappointed in this toy. Very cheap looking. This manufacturer is obviously pulling the wool over all of our eyes. Just making any old cheap thing assuming we'll be happy with it because it's a Pokémon item. Not me, not again.
