Quality Vegetable Glycerin at an affordable price.
I am very happy with the purchase of Kosher Glycerin from Essential Depot. The price is competitive and the quality of the product is as high as I expected.I purchased this bottle to learn how to mix my own e-liquid for my e-cigarette (e-cig). Vegetable glycerin (in my opinion) is far superior to Propolyene glycol for making e-liquid. First and most important, is that the vapor produced by glycerin is much thicker, giving a better smoking sensation. Additionally, I don't seem to get the bad mouth feel that some Propolyene Glycol mixes can give you. On top of that, glycerin is natural and can be used for many other things including cosmetics and skin care as well as making tinctures.Just beware that 16 oz. is a copious amount of VG for making e-liquid. I don't plan on being able to go through all of this glycerin within the year (It has a 1 year shelf life per the label) even if I make e-liquid for friends to try out. I will be looking for other things to make with the glycerin as it is a very versatile ingredient.

For Homecrafting of Body Products
I'm new to the world of vegetable glycerin but it was listed in many of the body product recipes I've found and so I thought I would give this a try. So far, it's been fantastic. It does have a sweet taste, a nice consistency that mixes well with beeswax, coconut oil and essential oils. I primarily use this in a mouthwash recipe and a muscle-rub recipe-- so far. I can see why people would use it as a food additive, too. The price seems fair for the amount and I'm surprised that just a little bit goes such a long way.

Bought to make Ice Cream, Use it on my skin
I bought this glycerin to make homemade ice cream, as I read in one of my Keto recipes, that it helps keep the ice cream smooth. Then, I read it can be used for a number of other things, including as a great wrinkle reducer for your skin. So I mixed some with water and put it into a travel spray bottle and use it on my face and neck daily, with surprisingly good results. It really does plump up the wrinkles and those bags you sometimes get under your eyes also disappear. I then found out that one of my favorite facial gels, which also does this has glycerin as a main ingredient.

GREAT Vegetable Glycerin
I purchased this smaller 1qt bottle of USP Food Grade/medical grade Kosher Vegetable glycerin first to try the product. I thought the price might be too good to be true. I was beyond happy with the product. I use this to make e-liquid, but also for making my own moisturizers and for hair serums.Liquid was clear, flavorless(except for slightly sweet), scentless. Label was clearly marked with much information. Bottle is food safe also. I was very impressed overall with the quality. When you begin to figure out all the great uses for vegetable glycerin you realize it is wonderful to have large quantities around. Next time I'll purchase a bigger bottle.

Not so great for vaping.
As of this date, the label on Essential Depot's vegetable glycerin doesn't state it is suitable for e-cigarettes (unlike their propylene glycol label). I thought I'd give their VG a shot anyway. This VG is way too thick. I have used many brands over the years, so its thickness was unexpected. If you don't cut this VG with propylene glycol (or whatever you cut with) it will be unusable. It definitely will not reach your heating element on its own (and if it does it will clog it up and cook there leaving a heavy residue). The viscosity of this glycerin is exactly like corn syrup. If you're not sure how thick corn syrup is, it's thicker than your average pancake syrup. I was buying VG from Totally Wicked that has a consistency closer to PG, and I didn't need to cut their VG with as much PG as I do this brand. I use approximately 25% more PG than I used to. On a more positive note, this VG is super, super pure. I haven't had any reactions (sinus problems, etc.) since I started using it in mid-January, and I vape all day. I give it 4 stars for that (and the fact that they never did say it was suitable for e-cigarettes anyway).I also bought Essential Depot's PG, and its consistency and purity is perfect for vaping. It can be found here: Propylene Glycol 1 Pint.

Best VG for vape juice
I've tried about a dozen different brands for my diy vape juice. This is the best I've found.I question the sustainability of palm but tried the expensive coconut based VG and it 8mparted a light coconut flavor that didn't go well with my mixes. If your vape juice has coconut flavoring in it, I would suggest trying coconut based VG.

Wish it came in a better bottle.
You can use it for making anything from e liquids to skin products, but my main complaint is that I hate the bottle it comes in! Most people who buy it are probably going to be mixing it with something else (no matter what they're using it for) but for some reason the opening of this bottle is ridiculously big! I had to get a funnel.I also don't like that they claim it's "pharmaceutical" grade and USP certified and yet nowhere on the bottle is there any actual certification of either of these things...but at the same time, EVERY brand of veg glycerine is making the exact same claims, so they're no different than any other brand in that respect. Also just a warning: i have dry skin so I once tried to apply a little of this stuff (unmixed and by itself) to my skin after a shower (just like one of the reviews here suggests) and OMG it was definitely NOT a good experience! It made my skin red, hot, and greasy and it felt really disgusting all day (kinda burned all day too). I looked it up and apparently, you're not actually supposed to put this stuff on your skin without mixing it with something, so watch out if you have sensitive skin!
