K301 Square Drive Magnetic Bit Holder Socket Adapters, 3-Piece

At times the bit can be hard to get into some of them, but once there they work pretty good and you get pretty good torque with your socket set. Enough to tighten screws that power drills with high rotation can't. I've always been hesitant to get the high torque, low rotation battery operated drills for screwing as inevitably when you need to use it the battery is out, unless you use it very regularly, which I don't. This set solved my problem. I was even able to tighten some of the screws I had going into concrete, which I could not before.

Needed bit holders for all drive sizes

These three driver sockets work ok right out of the box .. but I felt resistance trying to seat a bit into each. Upon close examination there are tiny C rings just inside of all three. The first one popped out of place and I was able to remove it with small pliers. With some determination I was able to pry the other two out. Now the bit seats perfectly and stays in place by the magnet. I don’t see any benefit to the C rings at all thus four stars. Otherwise than this modification, I am very pleased.

It’s useful without breaking the bank and getting pre made socket bits. Why do that when you can have a whole set of bits and 3 adapters to use.

Really haven’t used the socket adapter but the impact driver one I have almost wore it out and you can basically drive a large screw with one hand it does take a bit to get used to it

I've been using this bit adapter socket quite a bit and it has held up exceptionally well. The magnet in the bit holder is so strong that sometimes I pull the entire socket off of the anvil and not the bit itself. The quality is excellent and it has withstood being impacted even though its not supposed to be used on impacts. I most frequently use this on a ratchet.

Great product.

So far, for home use, they are keeping up and haven't failed yet.

Every time I need a hex adapter I think "I'm sure I have that one here" only to find out i don't. Now I have all 3 sizes in one place at a great price for a homeowner workshop!

poor quality

I appreciate the strength of the magnets that hold your bits in place. I bought these as a replacement for a faulty set piece I had, especially since my bits would fall out. These new ones solve all my issues.

I remember seeing reviews about similar products where the ball retaining strip kept popping off. These have no such problem. The retaining ring goes all the way around and the adapter is well made in general. Not sure when you would ever need a 3/8" or 1/2" to 1/4" hex adapter, but I love the 1/4" to 1/4" hex on a small ratchet for driving screws by hand.
