Can you use this to cook Raptor??

You have to marinate the raptor in buttermilk for an eon or two to remove the gamey taste. After that, a little salt and pepper and fifty million years or so cooking at 134 degrees and it will be tender as all get out! Be sure to keep the water topped up!

Can I cook in a ZIPLOCK or is a special bag needed?

Yes! You can just place items to be cooked in a ziplock, then, with the opening up, immerse in water to force the air out. Seal the bag and put it in a pot of hot water and place in the oven at desired temp and save yourself the $150 Sous-vide costs.

So as I understand it this has long slow cooking times? Is it safe to leave it cooking when no one is home, like a crockpot or rice cooker?

You are totally safe as long as you don't keep your pot on a wooden or Corian surface for a long period (damage after 200 degrees.) Chances are it would be ok because most cooking is done below that; but placing it on a granite counter or stove top would be the safest.

Hey man, i have bought a anova culinary a2.2-120v-us sous vide precision cooke, but i still need a vacuum sealer, any recommend is ok

I recently purchased a vacuum sealer called food shield. It is $105 on amazon & you can use the same bags you would with a vacuum chamber. Use the 3 mil bags for aver .40 less then food saver bags. You can double seal them or just vacuum seal them twice. I have even done liquid with this vacuum sealer. Has a bit different pump that allows you to do it this way without liquid getting into the pump. Look at my review & you will see photos of beef stew I did. You would swear I did it with a vacuum chamber.
