The description advertised sterling silver, but the locket was NOT STAMPED WITH THE 925!!!! For the price, it should be stamped sterling silver if, indeed, it really is! The chain is stamped.

My favorite thing
I have worn this necklace everyday for about 2 years now and it’s still in perfect condition! I love it! I put a pic of my dog in it and I keep him by my heart always ❤️

DIFFICULT TO INSERT PHOTO/ LOW QUALITY
READ INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSERTING PICTURE CAREFULLY!!!! It was extremely difficult to get a photo in the small and intricate frame. It came with no template for using on a photo to cut out the desired picture. There is a thin plastic layer on top and a tanish paper layer on bottom. I used tweezers to very carefully remove both, and they still looked damaged when I re-inserted them with the picture. I would LOVE for the company to have sent spares. Once you get the photo in it is a beautiful necklace. Very delicate and pretty. The clasp securing the locket seems a little weak or loose. I am hoping it is my imagination and that it will hold up for a long time. Honestly this was probably meant for a younger girl (in which case it would be perfect) and my expectations were too high.

Help with photos for locket
The locket is beautiful and exactly what I anticipated! Thankful that my son is tech-savvy because the photos in this locket have to be sized down and cut precisely to fit! If you don’t have someone to help you, order with photos! My granddaughter loved it! She wanted a pic of each of her parents and their partners!

Great price for a locket
Pros: Great price for a locket which seems to be silver plated. The mechanism for holding the pictures looks pretty sturdy as it was a little hard to open.Cons: It was a little too small to just take existing pictures and cut to size, you'll probably have to print smaller pictures hence why we returned it.

Beautiful, but hard to open & place photos in it.
The locket is very beautiful. I love the design, and the message, "You Are My Sunshine". The chain is very thin, and the locket is hard to open. I haven't figured out yet how to put in pictures, as I can't take out the plastic picture covering. The locket isn't S925 stumped, only the chain. I love this necklace, and wear it every day. The size is just right for everyday wear. It comes in a small zip-lock bag, not in a box, so it doesn't look attractive to give as a gift, unless it's for children or young adults.
