So much fun and turns really bright pink.

So when she arrived in the mail, she was already completely pink as if she was put in hot water. I thought she was going to stay that way, but after her being inside my house for a half hour or so, she returned to her standard colors. The Texas heat must’ve gotten to her (I can’t blame her). That being said, I love her, she’s cute, she works as she should and I’ve had no issue with her holding water! 10/10 love the mermaid pony.

We bought this as a bath toy for my daughter. She was transitioning out of the baby bath toys and we wanted to surprise her with something fun for bigger kiddos. She was so excited to receive this, and absolutely fell in love with Ella!This comes with the horse, a brush, a blanket cover, and a 'perfume' bottle that you can fill with water.This is a great toy because it's fun in and out of the bath. She can easily serve as a normal horse for play. She's big enough that a Barbie can ride on her. Her main and tail are easy to brush. Her blue cover is terry cloth and easily ties on.Ella easily changes color when dipped in hot or cold water. Hot water changes her to pink, and cold changes her back to purple. In my experience, she pretty much turns back to purple as soon as she's out of the warm water. When she's dunked in the bath she's a bright pink. As soon as she's out, she starts to instantly fade back to dark purple.The only kind of strange thing is what happens to her colors when you take her out of warm water. She doesn't smoothly change back to purple, nor does she stay pink. She sort of gets purple spots and lines on her. It's not a huge deal, just a little strange. Maybe that's unique to our horse.Overall this is a great toy in and out of the water. My daughter loves it and has played with it every day in the bath since receiving it. It's a fun and cute toy...and the novelty hasn't worn off yet!

My three year old loves unicorns and playing in the tub. She specifically asked for Luna for Christmas. The colors change in warm-hot water, just as advertised. The hair changes back fairly quickly, while it took hours for the moon and stars on her side to fully return to their purple color. She’s a pretty and cute unicorn and my daughter has been playing with her a lot out of the tub too. She loves it! A little pricey, but it’s Breyer. I would recommend this.

The unicorn pony did change colors when put into warm water. Granddaughter loved it!

This is really fun for my six-year-old daughter. She loves the colour change, which is immediate in warm water. Colour changes back immediately upon taking it back out of the water. She loves braiding the pony's mane and tail and dressing it up in its little blanket before and after "Ella's" bath. The little brush and shampoo bottle it comes with are really cute and fun for my daughter to play with as well. Ella makes bathtime really enjoyable!

The water has to be quite hot to change the colour of the mane which is rather too warm for a toddler to bath in, which was disappointing. The other colour changing happens at a reasonable temperature.

Horse does not change color as advertised. Bottle to sprinkle water does not work well.
