Still the best sounding and longest lasting buds in the $250 and below range
I originally preordered these over a year ago, directly from Klipsch for full msrp. ($200)They can be a little finicky until you learn how to wear and set them up. (That’s was some users are docking them a few stars) Once you do and learn all the left/right click options z; they are the best sounding and longest lasting buds.No ANC but anc isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. These fit in the ear canal and block almost as much noise, as the new Sony WF-1000xm3 ( I have those as well)Sound is perfect. Great , mids, highs. Maximum volume is probably the highest of all the current top $250 and below wireless ear buds. I’ve tried many of them. Including Bose sound sports, the new sennheiser Momentum’s, jabras, and a few others.Battery life really is 7+hours not including standby. You could have these in all day playing music/podcasts off and on and make it to bed. The case has three full recharges. They’re also really lite and comfortable. You may need to get use to putting/pushing them in the ear canal. They stay in if you have them seated as intended. I have experienced no ear discomfort, ymmv.I use them all day at work. I’m an electrician working in a fast paced, dirty environment. Think saw dust, insulation, drywall dust, and sweat. No issues. I bought two additional pairs, one for my brothers birthday and a back up for me.Tips and consTip:- if either bud or both lose connection. Either from walking to far from device or randomly:1-hold in the ear bud button on the side you originally paired for three seconds. Do not hold and wait for a beep. Just three seconds and let go. It will pair backup. Then do the opposite side the same way. They will pair back together perfectly.-you can also hold down both (while in your ears) for three seconds and letting go. Do not hold and wait for a beep or anything. That worked well too, however you cannot predict which bud will pair to the phone as the master. The cons:- if you drop the battery case they will go flying.-if you place them in the battery case and they recharge using up the last of the cases battery life, they will connect to your phone. It seems the case electronically prevents them from connecting to your device when charging or sitting in them. This hasn’t been a big issue for me.-finicky. When pairing originally, you can select the left or right earbud. Select the side you primarily keep your phone located (left/right Pocket) not doing this may cause some transmission issues even near lots of potential interference, which I have found to be large metal equipment. (For me this is certain construction equipment indoors and close together) or of I have my tool belt on and have my hand tools covering or on the side of my Phone pocket. You probably won’t have the issues I’ve had.

Check the Box for Tampering - These were "New"?
****Update 9-22-20****I got these earbuds and I believed I was getting a legitimate "New" pair of Klipsch T5 buds. I figured that they were cheap because of the recently released T5 II buds and Klipsch was blowing out inventory. However, I contacted Klipsch wanting to verify the product registration for warranty purposes. Klipsch said that the warranty would only be extended if purchased from authorized resellers of Klipsch products. I believed I was purchasing through a authorized seller. The order was purchased from Amazing Deals Online fulfilled by Amazon. The retailer is not a authorized reseller of Klipsch products so people are buying at their own risk and will have not warranty support by Klipsch. I have a transcript of my chat with Klipsch tech support and I am very glad I contacted them.I set up a return of the T5 buds purchased on Amazon and purchased a pair of T5 earbuds from Costco, a authorized reseller, and my experience with the earbuds has been night and day.Starting with the box. The legitimate "new" box had the original Klipsch UPC sticker. The box I received from Amazon through Amazing Deals Online had a printed UPC sticker so I peeled up the sicker and what I saw infuriated me! The original Klipsch factory sticker had been removed and a printed UPC sticker had been placed where the original had been. The pair I received was a "grey" market or refurbished product at best in my opinion. The second difference between the buds that I received and the legitimate buds is the Bluetooth connection. The Amazon T5 buds I received would not keep a connection with the right and left earbud and would cut entirely if I placed my hand over my ear and bud. The legitimate T5 do not do this and hold the connection very well and I have not experienced one drop out from either the right or left earbud and I can place my hand over the buds without them cutting out. Another difference was the microphones and call audio quality it was slightly muffled and the legitimate pair of earbuds provide a better sounding call quality. The final and most important difference is in the overall sound quality of the Klipsch T5 I received from Amazon and the legitimate T5 buds sound better hands down.Check your boxes people! I am very thankful for the Amazon return policy.Final Thoughts, if one is willing to take the risk and toss the dice on these buds, go for it. I was not. They are a amazing set of earbuds if you get a pair from a Authorized seller of Klipsch products. Costco sells them for $99 bucks.Review of Klipsch T5 Wireless earbuds purchased on Amazon.com -I was looking for a pair of earbuds that I sounded good that I could run/work out with and be a backup to my Sony WF-1000XM3 earbuds. I got sick of my current backup Soundcore Liberty Pro 2 earbuds. The constant background hiss and lack being able to switch devices easily finally got to me. When I saw the price drop of the Klipsch T5 earbuds, I purchased them.Sound quality - First and foremost, to get the most out of these earbuds, one has to have the proper fit as it is with all earbud or in ear designs. For ME, I find the sound profile of the T5 buds to have a balanced and warm sound profile with a emphasis in the mids to upper end with very good clarity and separation. They do have bass but it is not in your face like many earbuds on the market. This makes vocals and dialogue clear and the bass is also clear but does not get in the way and it is a real treat. I downloaded the Klipsch connect app and was able to update to the current firmware without issue and the app has a EQ that can be adjusted. Or one can download a separate EQ app if one so choses.Battery Life - The buds do go the distance with 8 hours of listening and the case provides 2 charges. This beats out the Sony 1000XM3. I wore the Klipsch T5 all day working from home and my ears did not hurt or feel fatigued.Fit- I was happy to discover that I find the Klipsch T5 buds to be very comfortable with the proprietary tips Klipsch has designed. This is both a blessing and a curse. If one wants to find aftermarket tips, it is going to be hard because the tips are a gel type attached to a plastic center that snaps onto the buds and only three sizes come in the package. The earbuds are designed to extend into the ear canal pretty far and with the shape of the tip, oval, and how deep it sits in the ear, once you get them in, they are very secure and do not hurt. I can run and they don't budge and I would say they provide excellent noise isolation.Bluetooth Connection - Better with Firmware updates but not that great. Out of the box, I paired them and started listening in bed. I noticed a few connection issues between the right and left earbud. The T5 connection is set up were one earbud connects to a device and then the other earbud connects to the other earbud not the device. What sets the T5 apart from other earbuds that have this type of connection is that either earbud can be a main bud for the combination. This is what worked for me. For the initial paring, I paired the right earbud, when I did this, my phone asked to pair with the left. I hit ok so both are paired. When both were connected, I placed them in the case. This turns off the earbuds. Then I removed one earbud and it automatically paired with my phone. I then took the second earbud out of the case and it then paired to the right. With this, I still had some connectivity issues and I don't know what was happening but it was only a couple times and not constant. In spite of peoples experiences with problems with the app and updating firmware, I chose to update. The app is not great and that is being generous but it is the only way to update the firmware to the headphones. I was scared though the entire process but I managed to update the firmware of both Left and Right Separately. After the update, the connection between the right and left earbud seem to be LOADS better. I still have to carry my phone in the right pocket if my right earbud has the primary connection but sitting at my desk, I had the phone on the left side of the desk and paired to the right earbud and I did not encounter one drop outs and I can walk about the stated 30 feet away before the connection starts to break up.Pairing Multiple Devices. Turn off Bluetooth on the paired device and tap the saved connection on the device one wants to connect to and it switches. No need to re-pair the buds.I also like the physical buttons on the earbuds. I have learned to pinch the edges of the earbuds with my thumb and middle finger to press the buttons on the earbuds. The Sony WF1000XM3 sometimes register too many touches or not enough so I like the T5 Buttons.-Final NoteBuy from a Authorized reseller of Klipsch products. While the buds I received from Amazon did not sound "bad" the original "new" Klipsch T5 wireless buds sound even better and have better Bluetooth connections, and call quality and since Costco is a authorized reseller, I have the Klipsch 2 year warranty.

Had to send them back
These work great as long as you're willing to put up with a few things. First burn 3-4 hours googling error messages and researching online message boards for how to get the firmware update tool to stop crashing. Never even attempt pair to multiple devices ever. You don't want to use them outside where the bluetooth doesn't have a wall to bounce signal off of. You don't want to use them on the couch or by a pillow where the bluetooth signal will get lost. You don't want to move around too much period as the left bud will disconnect from the right bud and scream about "DEVICE READY TO PAIR" which you must never do to the left bud even though your phone or comupter will automatically prompt you to do so every time you open bluetooth settings. You also don't want to use the EQ app since it only effects settings in one ear at a time (why!?!). The EQ app also crashes with a vauge error message if you try to use it when your phone isn't playing music. It will also prompt to connect to the left earbud which if you actually do, you'll have to factory reset the buds and start from scratch to get them re-paired to your phone (known issue). Also you must never remove both buds from the charging case at the same time or left bud before right bud. Always take the right bud out first or nothing works at all. Also the buds lack all bass if you're using the wrong size tips on them. If you're using the right size tips then they're generally too loose to use while exercising (I personally had to use large tips to keep them from falling out of my ears while working out, but medium for when I wanted to hear bass, pick one). But if you can get past all that, the sound quality is very good.Overall it feels like buds made by a company that's really good at making speakers, but awful at both hardware and software.

Everything You Need!
I love me some Klipsch, but was mildly hesitant to buy these as I've noticed more than one person complaining about connection issues. But then they rolled out the blacked-out version and put them on sale for $149. Couldn't resist! This is my first pair of true wireless earbuds and I wanted something with better sound quality than the white bones sticking out of everyone's ears now-and-days. To put it plainly, these are bomb and you should buy them now.SOUND: Crystal clear and balanced with punchy but not overbearing bass. Absolutely impressed and exactly what I expected from Klipsch.FIT: I popped these into my ears right out of the box with the default foam thingies. Fit was perfect and they don't seem to have any desire to slip out. No complaints here.CONNECTION: To be clear, I've been using these mostly while sitting in a cubicle at work all day with my phone placed on the desk. I have experienced zero drops in connection. However, I will say that the connection dropped once when I was walking around with my phone in my pocket at home. But when I say "drop", I mean the sound cut out for one second and then returned so make of that what you will. But so far, it looks like any connection drops you might experience would be infrequent enough to not matter and probably in-line with the competition.PAIRING: The Digital Trends review for these says pairing can be tricky... um, you hold the primary buttons on each earbud for three seconds and then select either earbud on your Bluetooth list and you're done. What do you people want??LOOK & FEEL: Blacked-out earbuds with a slick stainless steel all-black 'Zippo' case. No doubt, these look badass.BATTERY: The buds got 8 hours of life and the case provides an extra 24 hours. That's about as good as it gets!CALL QUALITY: I've taken one call in these from my mom. I didn't ask her directly how I sounded but she never complained about being unable to hear me or asked me to repeat myself - so I guess they pass? Honestly, I don't really factor in call quality when buying earbuds as I'm rarely talking on the phone.

Klipsch Design and Sound with minor problems
I do have Sony WF-1000MX3, Apple AirPods Pro and Klipsch T5 and tested them for some time.If you just want to read about KLIPSCH T5 scroll down below where I mentioned the part related with KLISPCH review.Sound of Sony is very low according to other two, like %25 lower than Apple, which is like %15 lower than Klipsch so you do the math.Sony is more customizable both over Klipsch (there is no app to customize it) and Apple. You can choose 20 different levels of ANC and different EQ settings and touch control settings. Airpod Pro's adjusts the EQ according to what you listen (I might be wrong but I believe that's limited to Apple Music provided songs :) ) , besides you can change the EQ via music settings in Control menu on iPhones if you need more bass. When it comes to ANC who cares of 20 different levels of ANC? You can't differentiate few clicks in ANC settings, Apple just basically choose the distinctive differentiations and summed it up to 3 levels.Klipsch has very good touch control menu, you don't feel like changing the button configuration but yet physical buttons are so 1990's. hard to operate without changing the fit and position of it while its inside the ear, and starts hurting while trying to turn down or up the volume.Airpod Pro's lacks customization for controls and no volume adjustment is just dumb. When it comes to choosing between 3; Apple has the best of everything over all (better switching between apple products, ANC, hard to notice form factor while it is inside the ear, call quality better than iPhone 7, same with iPhone 11 itself) but price wise Klipsch has the edge.Maybe new T5 2gen would do better, or I am sure newly designed T5 ANC would do better but it's price tag will be $228 which will be hard to sell it to Apple iPhone, iPad, Mac owners who would be glad to have the seamless switching between different sources. Also when you come close to $300 you have Master & Dynamics 07 as a competition which has very low profile that does not stick out the ear, nice in ear comfort with rubber fins to hold it inside the ear, ANC and audiophile level sound quality.SO FOR THE ONES WHO CHOOSE TO GO WITH KLISPCH:Design is lovely but heavy to carry in the end you can toss the case inside the bag and go 8 hours straight with earbuds but its all about mobility, therefore if you don't have a bag you either end up putting it inside your pocket, which might end up getting scratched by any keys you got there with it; Or you have it inside the same pocket with your phone, worrying about screen getting cracked by an accidental bouncing of those two when you run to catch a train or hurry down the stairs. The lid of the case is very loose that hinge is no support or mechanism at all to hold the lid open like any other case; even after the first week of very very careful usage hinge of the lid got so loose as you can see in the video I posted ( I even lay a napkin underneath it while placing on a table at starbucks lol )Battery is great, yet it would be a shame not to have a better battery with that big form factor of case and earbuds has; besides it doesn't have ANC like the competitors like apple, sony. But to eliminate surrounding sound you feel like turning up the volume at the gym therefore you end up hurting your ear. The point of using ANC is to hear music without loosing your hearing ability before the age of 40.I love the KLIPSCH sound, and sound level of it is makes you feel like you are in the club. But the earbuds starts slipping out with after ear wax, sweat, heat etc whatever you call it starts to effect the silicone buds.Call Quality is terrible, what I mean is I can clearly hear the other party but he can definitely hear almost everything like even people that I talk to can hear my foot steps during a call. Hopes are they might fix those things with their app which is called "it come out soon, thanks for your patience and understanding"

Bad Product and Bad App
I bought these to use so I can ride around on my onewheel. Any drastic movements of the head to check to see if cars are coming cause them to cut out, like a lot. It's like when your wired headphones cord is failing and you keep moving the wire to get them to work correctly but they just keep cutting out and continues to get more upsetting. If you have your phone more then 6 inches from them they also begin to cut out as well. I tried to download the app to fix the issue but the firmware refuses to update. I tried everything recommended and they still won't update and work correctly. These earbuds are also super bulky, while feeling super cheap. Don't plan on using these snowboarding and wearing a beanie, they stick out way past your ear, and the hat will catch on to them and cause them to press into your ear.The build quality also feels super cheap, I feel like if one of these fell out of my ear and hit the ground while running or riding around on a skateboard they would instantly just break. It's a shame, the sound quality is actually pretty good, but there is no point in having amazing sound quality if they just keep cutting out when you do any kind of movement.Overall, if you plan to tape your phone to the back of your head, nice and close to the earbuds, and don't plan on moving with them in, they may be the right pair for you, but I would say that you are better off getting a pair of 30 dollar wireless buds that will have a better build quality, better app, and better connection quality. These were a huge let down, and it's a huge shame.

WTF with the bad reviews. Guess i won the Klipsch lottery
Ok so i got a pair of Sennheiser Momentum true wireless yesterday but still ordered these because i had to see for myself that all the negative reviews were legit. First, the Momentums are crystal clear. Amazing detail but the only thing i dont like is that the volume is not loud enough for me.( yes i have the app to adjust EQ). Anyway i was perfectly happy and taking calls was outstanding as well.Klipsch arrived today and told my wife “ i know i just bought a pair yesterday and these Klipsch are likely going back tommorow. Word is they suck.” I am a semi audiophile and music is so important to me and i loved Klipsch speakers. Ok... Unboxed the T5s. Beautiful, lightweight appearance. Time to pair them. Expecting a nightmare. Couldnt have been easier or faster! I mean EASY! Put in with tips that came with them. Great fit! Hmmmm....... Ok some awful stuff has to be coming. Lets listen to some music: HOLY CRAP! These suckers are LOUD. I like it turned up to 11 and these are a 13. Twice as loud as the Sennheisers. Sound is amazing! Sounds like i am at a rock concert. I do not exxagerate. Believe me, i want to crap on these because now i gotta put my Sennheisers on OFFERUP and catch an ass hewing from my wife. Oh yeah, set my phone down and walked about 100 feet away and no connection loss. Maybe its because i am using an Iphone? Maybe these bad reviews are from Android users? Sennheiser $299. Klipsch $130. Senns are awesome but if i had another $300, i would buy the Klipsch every time. Also dont bother with the highly rated Jabras either. Crap for the masses with dead soundUpdate Jan 2021; Bought the T5 ii and many other since my first pair of these. Only thing that touches these is the Sony WF-1000. The original T5 may not have all the bells and whistles but floks the sound is far better than the new version and better than anything on the market. I am all about sound quality and i wouldnt trade these for anything. I am a rock guy so for the bass heads out there, i cant speak to that. Buy these for audio quality and battery life

Maybe I got lucky?
I've had these for a few weeks now and have used them for probably 20 hours. I'm pleased to say that I haven't had the experience that so many others have. The fit is OK. The left side falls out after 5-10 minutes unless I keep pushing it back in. With every other set of earbuds I've ever owned, that happens on both the left and right. The sound quality is what you should expect from Klipsch, namely excellent clarity and fidelity, balanced (i.e. not bass-heavy), and LOUD. It's exactly the same sort of "audio fingerprint" as my 70s Cornwall speakers. If that's the sort of sound you're after, then you should be happy with these. Noise cancellation is passive -- they are basically earplugs, after all -- but excellent. If you have music playing, you're not hearing anything going on around you. The low-latency playback was a really big deal for me, and it works. No sync issues with videos or games. It can act a little weird sometimes, but I'm very satisfied nonetheless. Now for the elephant in the room: Connectivity. My experience is that these earbuds are extremely sensitive to interference. When I am in an environment that is pretty "clean" -- not much interference from other devices -- the connectivity is flawless. No dropouts between the buds and my phone, or between the buds themselves. I can literally walk to the bathroom next door, leaving my phone on my desk, and have no problems. However, I have discovered that if I operate an electric motor, I get frequent dropouts. If the motor is particularly high-speed, like a blender, or right in between my phone and ears, like a cordless string trimmer, those dropouts can be so severe as to be crippling. But it does depend on the device. In short, if you're in an area with lots of "EM pollution" from high-power wifi routers, poorly-shielded consumer appliances, and so on, I suspect you're going to have trouble. And by the way, the Klipsch Connect app has been pulled from the app stores, with no guidance on when they plan to re-release it. If that app is part of your purchase decision, check to see if it's available before you pull the trigger.

Battery was dead when it arrived!
Left earbud works normally. Right earbud came with a dead battery despite charging, it is not able to retain charge even a few seconds, so right is totally dead. What makes it worse is that not able to return due to bluetooth (Prohibited item) since I need to send it via flight and price does not make sense for the return as well. Amazon made it right, full refund, so all good but product not recommended to purchase unless you are located locally in USA.

Great if you have small ears!
I have small ears and a small ear canal and I find it very difficult to find a suitable pair of earbuds that fit me properly, even when using foam eartips like those form Comply. This is where the Klipsch T5 have succeeded where all others have failed. The T5's have a fairly narrow nozzle and this combined with the small ear tip option (3 different sizes are supplied) enables me to get a comfortable and stable in ear fit. The fit is deeper in the ear canal than most other ear bud types, which is my preference. An added benefit is passive noise cancelling is pretty good as a consequence of this deeper fit. Overall I find the fit to be very comfortable, even when wearing the buds for a long time.In terms of the sound quality, I would give the T5' an 8.5/10 score. All across the range, from lows to highs are clear and well represented, with bass present but not overpowering. My personal preference would be for a slightly warmer overall sound, but nonetheless the sound is very good.Other pros:I found the pairing process to be very easy. The loudness is good. The build quality of the ear buds is very good. The charging case is very stylish and well made.Battery life is excellent.Charging is by USB-CThe ear buds have stayed in place when I have been out running. The on board button controls are easy to use and work well. The ear buds are small and lightweight .Cons:Could do with an app at adjust sound settings and possibly button controls.Sound could be a tad warmer.Overall im very pleased with the T5's

Didn't work, getting a refund was a lot of work
Didn't work because of a battery malfunction. The earbud batteries were always discharged within 1 minute. When I tried to invoke my guarantee, Amazon forwarded me to Klipsch for that but Klipsch didn't even respond. When I finally found a way to invoke my guarantee directly at Amazon, I got a full return. I'll never buy something from Klipsch again.
