Sense-ation No-Pull Dog Harness - Red, Large (Wide)

My strong puller is no longer pulling! The adjustments to fit were a little difficult but the result was good, even though it appears too loose. It works! My 1 yr old 66 lb Golden Shepard walks nicely now, even on the way to the dog park. I used to have to hold her back with two hands but with the harness, one thumb is enough! Size Large fit her well with lots of room for adjustment if your dog is larger.

The SENSE-ation no-pull harness is true to size and fit if you measure to the product description details. The webbing is of rugged quality, solid stitching, and plastic snaps are high quality with a heavy metal ring. The harness is easy to fit upon initial use, and simple to adjust and fine-tune the fit -- I prefer to slip it over the head and quickly snap and unsnap the belly portion. We have a moderate puller 65-lb. pit/lab mix and the ease of walking with the harness is no comparison to the struggle of walks with a flat or martingale collar.

This is the easiest and most immediately effective way to stop our dog from pulling when being walked! He doesn't mind wearing it (unlike the gentle leader or pinch collars). We've got a year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever who loves his walks but pulls constantly and we tried the harness after a friend recommended it . Once it's sized correctly, it works seamlessly and instantly stops any pulling plus it'ss the most humane and safe way to eliminate pulling while on the leash. Disappointed it was so lightweight given the cost. My dog shred it when I turned my back for a minute. Maybe it would work for a dog that never chews.

Not as much control as the "Gentle Lead" but good control and more flexibility. As a petite senior, I also used a good trainer to help me solve my rescue dog's leash issues. Otherwise we would have been stuck with the very restrictive "Gentle Lead" forever.

It's a nice harness. It fits well and is easy to size. But it doesn't prevent my (very strong) Doberman from dragging me down the street. I am combining with training but it's still not as effective as the Gentle Leader, which isn't that effective. Disappointing.

I have pit bulls and they pull quite a bit on our walks. These harnesses help reduce their pulling. These, combined with training, have made our walks enjoyable instead of them dragging me down the street. I recommend these. Measure before you buy. The straps do adjust but are a bit of a challenge to do so. Otherwise, I'd give these a 5.

My adopted Golden Retriever is a central figure in my life. When I adopted her from a local shelter I knew she had several issues, one of which was insane pulling when on a leash. I utilized the services of a dog trainer who gave me a product similar to the Gentle Leader. While that helped, the dog hated it, often trying to remove it with various unsuccessful body movements. Since switching to the Sense-ation harness there has been a 100% improvement in her attitude when it's walk time - a real pleasure not having to go through the daily hassle of sweet talking, downright bribery or trickery to get the leader around her snout. I just put the harness over her head, clip it together on her underside and off we go for her daily ration of aroma-therapy-in-the-wild. My only issue was getting the correct size - which of course I did not get correct. She is a big 90 pounds, due in part to my weakness in the feeding department. I ordered a large based on her measurements - too big. I'll be getting another one in medium and pass the large on to the local shelter. Bottom line - the Sense-ation had made walk time a good time for both of us.
