Great for every day carry........
Great for everyday carry IF you use something like a Galloway Precision Trigger Guard Holster to cover the trigger on your Glock, and I do. The ClipDraw was very easy to install on my Glock 17 Gen 5. Everything needed was included and the whole job took about 5 minutes. I installed it on the left side so that the pistol butt was to my right with rear carry. Easy to draw and the Galloway insures that the trigger is protected against any ND's. With the ClipDraw installed on the left I don't have to worry about any interference with ejections or such. Some might say that reholstering would be difficult in that position with the Galloway trigger guard, but there's really only one reason for me to draw at all when carrying concealed and I'm not concerned with re-holstering. Just getting the weapon out in time to defend myself. My weapon is NOT for show and tell. For me the Glock 17 is a little large for appendix carry, but if I still had a Glock 19 I'm sure it would be fine (for me) for appendix carry with the ClipDraw and Galloway. I've tried many options and have the drawer full of holsters and such that go with that. I've found that the ClipDraw and Galloway work the best together for my situation. Update 2/15/2019 For everyday carry I've switched to a Glock 45 9mm. That's the newer model Glock that is basically a Glock 17 frame with a Glock 19 slide. With the exact same setup as I previously reviewed I get the best of both worlds now, Glock 17 capacity with Glock 19 slide length and small of back concealment. Wish I could add a 6th star.

What a find!
Hands down, I LOVE this! I've been carrying a pistol for approximately 12 years now with the conventional in the waist band holster (IWB). I've become very accustom to the feel of the holster against my hip or appendix depending how I'm carrying that day. With that said there are pros and cons to the different materials used for IWB holsters. My holsters consist of being made of either leather or Kydex for my CCW needs. Leather can get very hot in the summer months and the sweat will eventually break down the holster over a long period of time. Kydex won't suffer the same issues, but the downfall to it is that it's less forgiving with the contours of your body and is just as uncomfortable to carry if you don't find a high quality one that fits your appropriate needs. So with that said, after all these years and upwards of thousands of dollars spent on high end IWB holster this little clip has changed the way I carry. It allows you to simply clip the pistol to the inside of your waistband without the added thickness of a holster. You're only dealing with the pistol. The clip comes with instruction on how to change out the factory back plate with the pre-drilled back plate that comes with the clip. It took me less than 2 minutes to do it all before I was out the door for my first test run. Simple effective and well priced! I must have if you're tired of fighting to find the right IWB holster for your CCW needs. Highly recommended! As a side note, please be aware of your states CCW laws. Where I'm from you're supposed to have your pistol in a holster in order to carry under the guidelines provided to CCW owners. I'm not sure this falls under the "holster" category.

Fit Glock 30S perfect, best conceal carry system available, with caveat....
This product is by far the most concealable way to carry your firearm. There is no need for any bulk from a holster, no matter how thin it may be. The spring is strong, fits snugly against the gun and does not interfere with the guns operation in any way. It is not necessarily a quick holster, sometime you need to guide it over your belt but it is a very quick draw, and that's when it counts. The product installs easily and the videos online can help guide you through it. Since I own a Glock and Glocks do not have an active safety, I personally recommend the Siderlock be added to your trigger with this carry system, Most Glocks have a 5.5lb draw which is fantastic, but, when your putting the gun in your pants without any holster guiding the gun (and covering the trigger), you could theoretically snag your clothing into the trigger area, blowing off your ass. I know there are a LOT of people who don't think a Glock needs a safety, your finger is your safety, but shet happens. Anyone not willing to recognize the potential dangers of this carry system without a safety is just too arrogant or foolish for me to take seriously. Please note I said "Active Safety", I know Glocks have passive safety's, if you don't know the difference, look it up. Update 04/22/2016 - Have been daily carrying for 2 years using The Original Clipdraw and it is still going strong, clips on snugly and is still the best way to conceal.

Not too bad.
The clip works as advertised and was easy to install. I also use the clip on a Ruger .380 auto LCP. The Glock 27 that I'm using is a bit heavy and the "belt" location on the clip could be a little closer to the rear of the slide. That would allow the gun to ride lower in the pants and not be quite so "top heavy". The LCP, being much smaller I understand, completely disappears under the waist of the pants. I get the 27 won't do that, but if it rode a little lower I think the balance would be better. It still fits in a Blackhawk holster with the clip riding outside. I'd say worth the money.

Fantastic option to have.
Product is exactly as advertised. No issues so far. Obviously not for every application, but what a fantastic option to have. Whenever you might need to take the Clipdraw off the pistol, you can just unscrew it from the slide cover plate and screw the screws back in; no need to change out the cover plate every time. There are probably concerns about the Clipdraw rubbing on the slide where it makes contact, but I can say that it leaves absolutely no trace on a Glock slide because the coating is so tough. The slide cover plate, screws, and lock washers seem to be sufficient for solidly securing the Clipdraw. It maintains strong tension against the slide, and doesn't seem like it would ever relax unless you were to grab it and bend it back on purpose. My only real complaint is that there is no kind of texturing for grip near the back of Clipdraw, which is rather ridiculous to me; since the Clipdraw obstructs the serrations on the slide that most people NEED for grip, it seems like the designers would have the sense to incorporate a substitute, as the smooth powder coating is quite slick. However, since a decent solution is rather easy (the application of some Grip Tape), it's not that big of a deal and I still have to give 5 stars overall.

Great Minimal Carry System
I've had 4 different holsters for my G26 and I couldn't get used to any of them. I finally found a comfortable holster system that I use daily and can conceal very well. I'm a slim guy with an athletic build, so I like to wear form-fitting clothes. A lot of holsters come with bulky clips or leather loops that will print through a t-shirt. On top of that, you need to purchase an expensive belt that can be rigid enough to work with the belt clips. I like my $20 Kohls belt so I needed to find a holster system that would work :). Clipdraw is PERFECT for anyone who wants a minimal carry system. The install was so easy (took about 5-10 minutes) and looks great on my gun. The one draw back with this is that I don't feel comfortable having one in the chamber without the trigger covered. To remedy this, I bought a MIC holster by glock-tech and the combo between the MIC and the Clipdraw is perfection. I carry this system appendix-style daily and have 0 printing. If you're someone who doesn't carry chambered (not recommended), you don't have to worry about buying the MIC. I'm VERY happy with my new carry system and I'll be running it for a long time.

Good idea but room for improvement.
I installed this on my Glock 22 with little problem. Advice, read the instructions because they aren't long and the spring in the back of the slide can eject quite easily. The Clipdraw is slim and will attached to the gun. The back plate that the Clipdraw is attached to is a little flexible but doesn't appear to be getting worse. Final thoughts, the Drawclip is good for securely stowing my weapon but there is at least one drawback: I have lost the slide grip on one side. This means I rely in the Clipdraw for the needed traction. This may be the reason for the flexibility in the backplate but I can't be sure this is the fact. Suggestion to Drawclip's manufacturer: add knurling to the back section of the Drawclip and research the backplate's stability over the long-haul.
