I'm a side sleeper (occasional stomach sleeper) and used to not use a pillow at all or use a very, very flat single pillow. But the resiliency of youth is gone and I find that I need a pillow to avoid crippling stiff neck pain that radiated up my neck and down my shoulder. Not wanting to pay over 150 at the big mattress stores for their pillows, I found this highly rated pillow on Amazon.This pillow delivers. It is fully customizable. It comes with a a drawstring bag to remove as much of the inner foam to fit your needs.Is there a chemical smell, yes. This is foam people...brand new foam that has been shredded. So its going to smell like foam. I aired it out for 4-5 hours and it still retained some smell. But it didn't bother me. You might want to air it out for longer, if you are sensitive.The pillow is very supportive , I look forward to more amazing restful nights!Update 7/3/2018, Delivered on 6/11/2018:Well, after a few weeks with the pillow I am sad to say I was not having a comfortable night's sleep. I had removed about 1/2 of the inner foamand it was still too " tall " to be comfortable to me. I tired to give it a full month trial but it was not working out . I'd find myself putting the pillow to the side in the middle of the night since it cranked my neck up way too much. No matter how I tried to knead and work the foam evenly throughout the pillow, it ended up being way too tall in the middle. I suspect that's what these 1 star reviews are complaining that the pillow is " too hard". There's nothing hard or stiff about the pillow per say.Also, the stitching on the inner pillow case that contains the foam has separated in one spot about a 1/4 of an inch and has run up the width of the case, like a run in a stocking.Ended up getting that big mattress store $150 pillow. And while the new pillow is not customizable, I can already feel a difference. It's even, not tall and it gives when I lay my head on it without cranking my neck upwards.I really wanted to love the Sweetnight pillow for the price.I did not contact the seller or request a refund. I gave the pillow to my dad and he says he likes it.Update 7/10/2018 :A representative contacted me after I updated my original 5 star review to a 2 star review which was really great. I'm not the type to complain just to get something for free so I hadn't contacted them, but they made every effort to make it a positive experience. On a side note note my dad loves the pillow ! And I continue to love my " pricey" pillow, it works for me.Hopefully the Sweetnight pillow works for you as it's an excellent value for the price and great customer service. Upped my review to 4 stars.

I had bought 2 of these pillows one was theShredded Charcoal memory foam in a King the otherShredded Gel Memory Foam in king as well.First They come packaged very nicely decompress like the mattresses do now a days. There are 2 zippers on each cover and they are a nice healthy weight. I’d say between 5-6lbs. I love heavy pillows. They stay where u put them.The CHARCOAL PILLOW (King)This is my husbands pillow.. make sure you let this have time to expand before you decide if it’s the pillow for you. Also try to fluff it and bang it around by tossing and turning, squeezing etc to help it along.This pillow has a lot of material inside be careful if you open it. There a lot of material inside. It does at first have a slight smell but it did disappear after an hour or two.My husband likes this pillow. He saids that it does support his head threw out the night without losing it shape a whole lot. It is a cooling pillow and he saids he doesn’t get hot with it. It also has a cooling pillow cover on it that I’m sure helps any heat that it would cause.The GEL MEMORY FOAM (KING)This is my pillow.I have had several Cervical Fusions in my neck so a VERY supportive pillow is essential for me. I previously had a Tempur Pedic pillow but it was starting to get old so I chose this pillow to replace it. I have to say ... this pillow is better.... it supports my neck and head perfect on my side or my back. I mostly sleep on my back. I really like it. It’s been a long time since I have not had to reposition my pillow several times threw the night. It also has a nice breathing cover on it. (There are 2 zippered pillow covers on each pillow)ConcussionI would buy these pillows all over again. They are what I wanted... but everyone has their own preferences when it comes to a personal pillow.I would recommend this pillow as well. My parents are looking for new pillows as well and I recommend these pillows to them. So I believe they are ordering a couple for them as well.The customer service is great as well. I did have a couple questions about these pillows and they were quick to reach back out to me and answer any questions I had.

I bought this pillow for my wife, as she has herniated disks in her neck, and she couldn't find a pillow that would provide her with a descent night's sleep. She has used it for 4 nights, and says that it relieves enough of her neck pain that she can now get a good night's sleep. She says that it is a very comfortable pillow and loves it, so far.

I'm surprised no one mentioned this, a regular size pillow is defined to be 20"x26", however this advertised regular size is only 20"x23", causing my regular size pillow case to be empty on one end of the pillow. I ended up having to return the "Regular" and get the "Queen" size to fit my regular size, which turned out to be the regular size.

I have spent so much money buying pillows trying to find the right fit. Finally this Sweetnight pillow is the right fit for me! I am a stomach and slide sleeper and I normally get too hot with the latex pillow. This one just works perfectly! Great quality. Better than the cheaper knockoffs on Amazon. Highly recommend.

Foam is fully expanded but the pillow doesn’t have enough filling. I’m a side sleeper but I have to sleep with a second pillow because this one just doesn’t have enough filling in it. Would never remove any filling to adjust, I’d have a paper thin pillow.

I like this pillow, can adjust the high, good night sleep.
