Dislike that I never had a chance to read it.

Great material to read, worth buying

I chose a five star rating, because I feel as though this book is very instrumental in encouraging it's readers, particularly believers to not loose sight of the goal that is set before us. Namely, to persevere with determination and confidence in the ways of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. There was nothing about this book that I didn't like. I would recommend this book to anyone who is a fighter for what is right in the eyes of the Lord. I applaud Bishop TD Jake's and all who had a hand in completing this book. Keep up the great work and continue to let the Lord use you. Amen.

I ran from what I considered self help books and I always liked bishop but wasn’t in tune with my spirituality and things changed and I decided to buy this book and my god it was such a blessing. The things that were discussed were on point,intouch and so powerful. Thanks for stepping on my toes!!!bless you Bishop......My wife and family will thank you.

T.D.Jakes illustrates a deep wisdom and understanding of how a man operates. I learned things about myself that I didn't know and things that I did know but would never admit. If you are looking inward to improve yourself as a father, husband and a man, this has to be on your list as a top read. He suggests reading this with your wife and/or allowing her to read it as well. Beware that he will expose some uncomfortable things, but if you are in a place that you are willing to learn at any cost, you will become a mentally and emotionally better man for it.

What does it really mean to be a man? Bishop Jakes addresses this question and many more as he writes on manhood and fulfilling the role God has created men to be. He thoughtfully breaks this book into seven parts, with each part addressing some area of a man’s relationship. T.D. Jakes uses scripture and real day-to-day stories to focus on the relationships a man has with himself, his time, his father, other men, his woman, his children and with God and how all these areas are tied together. The author challenges the reader to stop running and hiding from responsibility and instead be the man God has created him to be. This book is packed with steps and action plans to help a man move forward in a healthy and biblical foundation, with reflection questions for both men and women towards the end of each chapter. These questions give an opportunity to respond, to go deeper, to finally be real, to be more self-aware and face the stuff men deal with. This is a great book for guys. I recommend reading this book, as it will challenge and convict one to explore their soul and deal with all the stuff. If you choose to pick this book up, take your time, read it slowly, read it with other men or your wife and thoughtfully reflect on the questions in each chapter. You will not regret the read.

I highly recommend this book to men of all races, backgrounds, etc.. As the points raised can hit home for any man who is trying to do the right things in life and by people. Easy to comprehend concepts and TD breaks down how we as men can fight our struggles without losing ourselves. Even if you are not of the church, but believe in the word or some other higher power, give this book a chance and I promise you will not be disappointed!

I am a women who wanted to learn and understand more about men. This book has helped me to do that. The author is able to go more in depth with the true emotion and understand of how men think, what they long for in life, and it helps to answer the question of what a man is.

Comprei, porém ainda não li. Está na fila de espera para ser devorado. Pelo que li na capa e contracapa, me parece que será uma gostosa leitura. Gosto muito dos livros do Bishop T. D. Jakes. Enquanto vc lê em inglês, vc se aperfeiçoa e se edifica espiritualmente.

With not many males in my early life, I liked the insight into men's minds.

Great book for men who don't have direct role models in their lives and would like to following a guide to becoming a man. It doesn't cover every topic but gives a brief overview of the man you should attain to be. One of my favourite books! Especially if life hasn't been so easy, this read is really good to motivate as well

Wonderful book, refreshing for the soul, by giving you a deeper understanding of the High call you and purposes of life you have in Christ Jesus our Saviour!! God bless Bishop Jakes!!!
